Hi !
We don't need a reason nor a season to garden in miniature! That's the fun of it.
In fact, I wanted a way to keep playing with plants IN my garden when I came across this idea 24+ years ago. Just like full-sized gardening, there is always something to putter with:
- to fix
- to tend
- to trim
- to clean up
- to plan
- to plant
- to replant
- to prep...
I often go out to my
mini garden bench after work with no agenda now and see where it takes me. (To clarify: the bench isn't miniature.) It's a great way to decompress after your day and let your worries worry about themselves for a spell.
Even 20 minutes seems to put me in a better, calmer mood! It really is therapy and you get to play with miniature gardens. 😀
Is it Still a "New" Hobby?
Question for you: do you think miniature gardening is still a "new" hobby? Steve was questioning wether I should be calling it new after 25 years of promoting it. I still come across people (all the time!) that don't know about it at all. BUT, after 25
years, I can we still call it new? Hit reply and let me know what you think.
And Speaking of New
We have some fresh new plants in from the grower this week AND a clearance sale to make room for the "new." See what's on clearance today, here.

Whatever you do, make it fun!
