You know you're a garden nerd when just about everything you think about is relates to the garden. But, IT'S THAT TIME!! Yay!
It's time to
get outside into the garden, into nature, unplug, get grounded and - you guessed it - play with your plants! It's cheap therapy, it's proven that it works to destress you - and you get a miniature garden out of it!
Which brings me to my second point:
Remember that miniature gardens, or the hobby of gardening in miniature, make great gifts. It's simple, sweet, thoughtful, neutral and authentic - and may lead to a genuine new pastime for the recipient which they will be forever-grateful for.
You can create smaller miniature gardens to give away as teacher or thank you gifts. They are perfect for co-worker and office birthday gifts too - pass around a hat to a few buddies to help with the cost and you have a heart-warming, personal gift - AND YOU get to make another miniature garden!
