Halloween is Coming, !
Fall is in the air, the leaves are turning and daylight is fading - which means it's time to get
crafty for the holidays!
As you can see from the above photo, there is no shortage of ideas when you combine two of the best hobbies, miniatures and gardening, into one, magical pastime. These are for my sale on Saturday, deets are below.
I hope this finds you inspired for the upcoming holidays! Not yet, you say? Try this:
How to Set Yourself Up to Get Inspired
Some may call me
downright silly to start a monthly sale - I know I was questioning my own sanity! I mean, I have to maintain four separate websites that include a specialized online store and another where
I'm actually building a hobby, (honestly, who has done that before? Lol!) you would think I need my head-read starting a new project.
But, aside from finally having a way to connect with people in person - and aside from having a creative outlet where I can work with my hands - and doesn't include a screen and a keyboard - I literally set myself up to stay inspired. I've got two more sales to do after this and I'll be rolling out of Halloween, into T-Day and onto Christmas!
AND I'm having a blast making all kinds of miniature gardens. It's getting me reacquainted with WHY I fell in love with this idea in the first place. It's forcing me to look for different ideas in the full-sized world that I can adapt for miniature - or dust off some old ones to make new again. It's also forcing me to focus and prioritize my online
work to be more efficient now <- a big plus that is VERY motivating too!
Who knew that getting busier would be better?
So? What can you do that would help you get more
crafty and creative for the upcoming gift-giving season? What can you tweak, change, swap or adapt in your usual schedule that will set yourself up to make a craftier and creative holiday season?
