Happy Holidays Everyone! 

I normally have the time to treat holidays separately and make different miniature garden scenes, but this year they are all at the same time so everything - quite literally - "went-to-pot." 😁 

Enjoy my latest miniature garden craft adventures! A new size of tiny terra cotta pot was the catalyst for this - it was just the right size that I needed for this miniaturizing idea that I've had for years. 

One caveat if you try this: it's a slippery slope. Lol! Now I want try a BUNCH of other pot animals and craft ideas now... the ability to enjoy this hobby in different ways all year 'round is just a TREAT. (Steve is about to hide the terra cotta pot inventory from our online store from me. Too funny!)

(PS - Please don't ask how long it took me to make the pot-reindeers. Lol!) 

A Pot Tree! Literally! 😆 I stopped after 7 pots though - I did have tinier ones... It was "hard" to decorate in that I had to decide upon just ONE theme & color scheme. 🎄 Total height is 7 ¼" / 18cm.

Flower pot gnome, miniaturized. The beads around his hat make it look like he's got jazzy glasses on. 👓 He's 1 ¼" tall or 3cm. (I made more - these gnomes are fun and quick to make once you get going. Hit reply if you want me to do more on these miniature pot crafts.)

Mini Pot Animals!! OMG - so fun! THIS was the miniaturizing idea that has been haunting me for years... Of course I had to try a smaller one. My faux fur was too chunky for it and it looks a little wonky. He's fun tho' the slightly bigger one came out much better, I think. The bigger reindeer it 1 ½" tall or about 3.8 cm, including the antlers. The smaller one is 1 ¼" or about 3 cm.
 

In the Christmas garden... that's our favorite Jean's Dilly Dwarf Spruce - a "real" miniature Christmas tree. I think that the Just Dandy Hinoki Cypress to the left and that ground cover underneath the Pot Tree is Elfin Thyme that is complaining - see the yellow and browning leaves - I think it need to be divided. ***Remember that plants usually tell you when they need your help. The pot is 12" or 30cm wide.
