Happy Long Weekend, !
Well, joy did not win the election but we can still cultivate it! But, I think we need a collective
break from all this chaos for a little bit. And, having a peaceful, serene, grounding hobby is just what the doctor ordered!
You'll probably recognize today's miniature garden, I used it at the end of September but I'm a sucker for flowers so I had to bring it forward again. This combination of miniature garden plants can be
brought inside for the winter. (Cool spot with a grow lamp is best.)
That's our favorite Variegated English Boxwood, with the Dwarf Mondo Grass on the right and the Dancing Pixie Saxifrage on the left. See the tips of the Mondo Grass starting to turn yellow? That's when you know it needs repotting, its roots have run out of space.
Plants usually tell you when they need something if you're patient enough to listen, er, I mean, look. 😀
