Happy Weekend, !
I love to celebrate working with a holiday! Truly my kind of "labor." Lol!
The rain has come back to Seattle and I'm doing the, "everything is watered" dance. After months of setting sprinklers and draggin' hoses around the gardens, I actually did a jig when I realized I didn't have to water for a few days! :o) It's the little things, isn't it?
Today's Tip
Remember to stop and grab your camera when your miniature garden is looking good! Just like a full-sized garden, you'll find there are times when your garden looks better than others. For me, right now, because of the
recent rains, the plants are cheering-up and they are blooming again - the perfect combo for photographing.
Also note that the BEST time to photograph anything outside is on overcast days. The direct sun creates harsh shadows and doesn't make a great photo. Shade from your house can work too, it may be a bit dark depending upon
the time of day. I've used umbrellas to shade my subjects too - it diffuses the light but keeps everything well lit.

Fresh plants are in from the growers today! I found
more of my most-fave-fern for the miniature garden, the Maidenhair Spleenwort Fern. Trust me when I say the plant it a LOT prettier than its name. Lol! See it here.
And we have a few Halloween miniatures up in the store. (Supplies are very limited.)
