If your miniature pumpkin is big enough, carve a hole for a fake tea light. Skip trying a real tealight in these tiny gourds, unless you like the smell of burning pumpkin which would entirely depend upon your Halloween theme this year. :o)

Mini jack-o-lanterns for our pumpkin house! The tiny pumpkins are lit with a light string - I drilled a hole in the back for a light to go through. I held the light-string in place with the larger pumpkin. The light string is hidden with the foliage in the miniature garden bed. 
Too fun!
