Hi ,
Well it's that time of year again! Our fall trees, shrubs and plants are
now back in stock for your miniature gardening pleasure!
I think the only thing that is just as inspiring for a miniature gardener as a new tree to play with, is a new container to build in. Lol! See our new trees in stock here.
And, also, as well as - don't shoot the messenger:
Halloween is here.
Today's Tip
As we transition into the shorter, cooler fall days, we'll need to change our watering habits and adjust accordingly - especially if there are two
people watering the garden!
For us, here in Seattle, where last week was summer and this week is fall, some plants did not get watered and others were overwatered. I thought Steve was watering and he thought I was was taking care of things. Needless to say, I think we
lost a couple of plants. Arg! (You'll only find this kind of reporting here - complete with mistakes and mishaps! :o)
What to do:
- Err on the side of not watering if you've had cooler weather.
- Check to see if the soil needs the water first. (Stick yo' finger in it!)
- Water in the mornings so the garden can dry out before
nighttime.
- Check with your partner if they are watering or not. :o)
