About This Week's Garden

This was the photo that was the inspiration for the cover of my first Gardening in Miniature book. We swapped out the accessories but the garden remained the same. 

That is the Elf Dwarf Alberta Spruce that I couldn't give away when I first starting selling the right trees and shrubs for miniature gardening. Now, I can't find any at all. Below, in the back left, that ground cover with the little spikes is Sedum acre 'Aureum.' In front of the tree is the Dwarf London Pride Saxifrage. The fern to the right of it see the Alpine Water Fern. Then clockwise from there is the Blue Star Creeper, Oregon Stonecrop and Red Thyme.

A hardy miniature garden for full cool sun (only because I didn't want to compromise that tree at all,) for Zone 5.
