Hi ! I hope this finds you safe, cozy and dreaming about miniature gardening! Our hearts go out to our fellow miniature gardeners in California - we hope you and yours are safe from the unbelievable flooding. We are with you! <3 I am working between the storms here in Seattle while trying a different way to garden: stopping to ask the right way to do things. Lol! I've been an experimental gardener for forever but I'm finding out that if I stop and ask the Internet when to move a plant, or how to divide one properly, it, um, is really helping... thought to share that tidbit. :o) (Got a question about mini gardening? Hit reply!) Grab a cuppa, I've got a mini lesson for you from today's featured miniature garden shown above and aptly titled, 'Let's Go All the Way.' AND there's a
head's up - the Lunar New Year is on the 22nd and we're headed into the Year of the Rabbit. But have no fear, we new rabbits
and a Japanese Arbor in stock today! If we see your order with any rabbits or Asian accessories, we'll ship it ASAP! Need any help with anything? Hit reply!

**All links open to our own websites.** A Mini MG Lesson: Let's Go All the WayA continuation of my in-ground
garden experiment that I'm doing for the Miniature Garden Society: I almost didn't use these photos but thought they were a good way to show you what doesn't work well, if your a stickler for realism in the miniature garden, like I am. Or, at least a cohesive scene that makes sense. This one shown here, is one of the fairy garden sections of my new-again in-ground garden. For a more whimsical scene, I used a blend of our Granite Pebbles mixed with the bright green pebbles, plus a faux pond with tumbled glass - instead of my usual real-water-ponds. My earlier display had fairy accessories and brightly colored furniture which worked. But you can see that I've changed-out all the fairy
accessories for realistic garden miniatures. NOW something is lacking, missing or off - it's not making me giggle or smile like a lot of my scenes do. ~~> What's Happened? It's the patio and pond that are pulling the scene back from the enchantment of a true garden in miniature. No one ever, in the full-sized world, would have a patio
and pond like that, right? So, why would I think it would work in miniature? AND it doesn't even look fairy-like, does it? What to do? Stick to one or the other. Go all the way with the one topic, rather than be wishy-washy and try to blend too many ideas into a single garden-space. ~> If you're making a miniature garden, keep it as realistic and as authentic as you can. The individual authentic plants and accessories will add up to a cohesive scene. ~> If you're making a fairy garden -
then go all the way "Fae" and focus on fairy accessories that actually look fairy-like. And remember, less is more. ~> And, if you don't want to any of this - don't! Lol! It's your own world and if you love it, then it's PERFECT. :O) And, I'll put this miniature garden scene back to fairyland now...

Thank you for reading! Remember to water your outdoor miniature garden too. It's better for the roots to be frozen than freeze dried.
