Hi ,
I hope this finds you digging into the summer wherever you are. Now that the spring planting is over and done with and your full-sized gardens are busy growing, we can get back to playing in our miniature gardens!
Honestly, miniature gardening is the perfect way to spend a quiet and peaceful afternoon: exploring your creativity and imagining the possibilities...! Summer is the PERFECT season for miniature gardening - but then I say that about every season, don't I? :oD
Well, the covid fairy finally found us the week before the July 4th weekend so, while we are SO over it, we still don't completely feel like I'm caught up. If I've missed anything, please try again! It's the one thing about only having one administrator (me) is that nothing gets done without said administrator (me.) Lol!
But I think it's safe to say miniature gardening is a covid-friendly hobby as I've tinkered with just about everything while letting this virus-thing takes its course. I haven't finished a thing and have had the attention span of a gnat, but, hey, I stayed entertained between naps...
I did get a chance to post some new plants, trees and kits though! More fun to come as we move into the summer because you know you can build a miniature garden in a container at any time of year!
Stay safe and make a miniature garden <~ it's less expensive than a crowded vacation, you can get a LOT of mini garden fun for the price of LESS than one tank of gas AND it doesn't even come close to the frustration of getting stranded at an airport or losing your luggage... Word. :o)
Whatever you do, make it fun!

About the above Pretty in Pink Garden Party: The tree on the left corner is a leggy Cumulus Cypress. The skinny broadleaf in the middle is the Sky Pencil Holly and the tree right corner is the Fernspray Hinoki Cypress that I've gradually shaped into a tree form. The Hinoki in the left, front is a Gemstone Hinoki Cypress, another tree that I've been training into a tree-form.
The flowering shrub is a dwarf Azealea.

The new Fairy Garden Pond kits are available IF you have the first Gardening in Miniature book with the instructions. I'm working on an ebook but it might be a couple/few weeks. See more details about this kit here. (Larger rocks are not included in the kit.)
What's New?
For a realistic pond with gray rocks and pebbles
A lighter color scheme in white and pink...
A fun "hairy" little shrub that is hardy to -30F
Fantastic color! Greener in the shade, golden in the sun.
This is the Miniature Garden Lake Kit but with gray pebbles instead of the white ones. I ran out of time to redo it for the photo - more to come. See this kit here.

THANK YOU FOR BEING OUR SUBSCRIBER!
Celebrating the Blooms: "It's the little things." I took the opportunity to cull some pink accessories and accents to help honor this once-a-year happening. Like a typical dwarf or miniature plant, the blooms aren't
dwarf or mini at all so we may as well enjoy it! (Azaleas can't be shipped across state lines easily, so if you do happen to find a dwarf one for sale, grab it. ;o)

ABOUT OUR SHIPPING:
All shipping costs are checked by Steve and we refund any savings promptly because of our wide range of unique inventory: we ship tiny miniatures, heavy patio materials and living plants, sometimes the automatic shipping calculator "packs" the order in multiple boxes which costs more. Steve can pack better than any online shipping
calculator can - if we can save you money on shipping, we will.

We appreciate and serve everyone regardless of race, color,
gender, politics, religion or who they love.
Viva la difference!
If we were all the same, the world would be a
very, very boring place to live.
