Hi !
Hey I hope this finds you safe, well and looking forward to the fall months in your miniature garden.
With the next season quickly approaching, it's time to get back to the garden to prep so we can enjoy those magical miniature garden moments throughout the winter. I've got a couple of links to my winterizing posts from our Mini Garden Guru blog below to help you make sure you're covered for the coming winter months.
TIP: It's important to remember your garden basics. Not all plants will work in all situations. "Right plant in the right place" is the golden rule of gardening for the simple reason that "you can't fool Mother Nature."
All our plant listings have the cold and heat zone information, whether it's an outdoor or indoor tree, and what kind of light the plant needs. If you try to force the plant to live somewhere it's not supposed to, you'll end up with a stressed-out plant that will be susceptible to bugs and disease that will eventually give up.
(Unless if you're being intentional about the (mis)placement and know that you only have a limited amount of time to enjoy that plant in that place - that's okay too.)
If you have any questions about any of our plants and trees, I'll be glad to help - just hit reply and ask away. If you have any general questions about gardening, simply Google the question and you'll get the answer. For example, "Can I grow Hemlocks in Zone 5?"
We have a bunch of plants back in stock this month as well as several new trees to love - Deodara Cedars, a Japanese Hemlock and a very cool new (to us) Korean Fir. There's more fun accessory ideas and miniature garden craft kits too. See them here.
Please stay safe to keep our young ones safer. Let me know your questions, just hit reply.
Whatever you do make it fun - and keep it fun,
