Hi !
We hope this finds you safe, cool and gardening in miniature!
Funny thing happened last week and I missed emailing our Gazette out. You see, it really was the best laid plans of a miniature gardener - until it wasn't. Lol!
So, you know how I teach from telling you my mistakes? My latest lesson: don't switch all your phone services, change your main passwords and go across an international border during a covid pandemic, all at the same time.
If it wasn't for my big sister helping me with endless minutia of ALL the covid hoops I had to jump through to get back to Toronto to see Dad and the family for a week, I still might be in quarantine somewhere in Canada, having overlooked a box that I didn't check, or a covid test that I messed up because I missed reading something... somewhere... Lol!
It's funny that I have all the patience in the world for a garden in miniature, I can easily spend my entire day working out the tiniest of details. But when it comes to the specifics of setting-up a new phone service, or updating passwords across my devices - I can only do this kind of work in small very increments. A little each day keeps the frustration away. Baby steps,
eh?
We hope you're staying very safe and cool out there. Our afternoons are consistently heating up to over 80 degrees which is unusual for us here in the Pacific Northwest. I recall summers where I so wanted it to get that hot. Now we're watering like crazy and making sure our big trees are getting a good, long drink now and then as well.
Please stay safe and keep your young ones safer.
Whatever you do make it fun - and keep it fun,
