It's National Miniature Garden Month!

Hi !
Hey! Happy National Miniature Garden Month! We're creating our own special month to celebrate this new hobby! It's the first year, so things aren't as organized as I would like - but hey, like our miniature gardens, we grow sloooowly.
:o)
In this issue of your Mini Garden Gazette, I got together a little photo essay on one of my miniature gardens that I've had around for 3 years in this form. I have used the container before, you may recognize this bowl from the Eat, Pray, Love display for the Northwest Flower Garden Show from a few years ago. Dig in and we'll explore the garden a "little"
Whatever you do make it fun & Happy National Miniature Garden Month!

This miniature garden was planted for a big garden show in 2018, as you'll see in the photos below. The garden bed has been left alone to see how it grows in. From left to right: Parahebe (variety unknown,) Sedum Angelina (yellow leaves,) Miniature Daisies in bud, Miniature Iris. Not all plants are available
at all times - the miniature daisies are coming up soon!
The tree is a Jacqueline Hillier Elm. I'll have to trim-off the wee leaves along the trunk a bit more. I left them on for the photo so it wouldn't look so bare in the back.
See the Elms here.
From the Archives ~> planted in 2018. You can see that the mini Hostas (the "big" leaves behind the pool,) and couple of the tinier perennials are now swallowed up by the miniature daisies.
I found the wicker couch and table at a local miniature show. The brick folly in the back is from the our Gardening in Miniature Prop Shop book, as well as miniature flower arranging (projects for real and fake flowers.) See it up in the store here.
From the Archives ~> from October 2018, dropping its leaves for the winter. That Jacqueline Hillier Elm was grown-in for a few years before I transferred it to this garden. Find pruning techniques for older miniature
trees in our Gardening in Miniature Prop Shop book. See it up in the store here.

PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITES:
ABOUT OUR SHIPPING:
We ship internationally (- but not the plants!)
All shipping costs are checked by Steve and we refund any savings promptly because of our wide range of unique inventory: we ship tiny miniatures, heavy patio materials and living plants, sometimes the automatic shipping calculator "packs" the order in multiple boxes which costs more. Steve can pack better than any online shipping calculator can - if we can save you money on
shipping, we will.
MORE ABOUT OUR SHIPPING: There is some confusion when checking out of our online store and seeing the shipping option of "Priority Mail." Priority Mail is the term the United States Post System calls their services. Anything over 1 pound
gets shipped by Priority Mail. They have done-away with Parcel Post. ~> It does not mean you get "priority" over anyone else's order. It's just what they call it. We are not able to send any order over a pound any other way. We choose to stay with USPS because they are least expensive, 98% reliable and they usually get your orders to you within 3 days at most. We've priced other services and USPS is our choice to save you money and ship your plants to you safely and quickly.
:o)
We appreciate and serve everyone regardless of race, color,
gender, politics, religion or who they love.
Viva la difference!
If we were all the same, the world would be a
very, very boring place to live.
We believe in Oneness, Kindness & Love.
