Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Miniature Garden Month!

Hi !
Hey! Happy Mother's Day! I hope this finds you enjoying the spring in your area - weather aside. A part of me is grateful for the long, cold spring so it gives me time to garden before everything starts to really get growing but I'm really ready for shorts and flip-flops already!
And hey! Happy National Miniature Garden Month! So I'm going for it. I'm making May National Miniature Gardening Month. As I mentioned to my fellow Miniature Garden Society members, it isn't officially recognized as I didn't get any confirmation of my registration for it, I'm going for it anyway. Just as I went ahead and started to research, innovate and market this hobby 20 years
ago - I didn't get anyone's permission or blessing, I just did it. My theory is that the world will eventually catch up to us as they did with the hobby. We shall see!
Dig in, there are a bunch of back-in-stock trees and plants in, as well as some new accessories and a TON of ideas!
Whatever you do make it fun & Happy Spring!
ABOVE: The plants in this container, from left to right: Green Carpet Juniper, Top Point Cedar and Red Thyme. The patio is our Sea
Green Stone Sheet installed with our Mini Patio Mix Kit.

Dwarf Elms are now in stock! We've got three different varieties right now. These elms are perfect for adding a complementing texture to your miniature garden bed. In the fall, the leaves will turn a gold color before dropping. Decorate it with lights for the winter. Awesome. This one above is
the Jacquelline Hillier
Elm. The instructions for this garden is in my first Gardening in Miniature book.
See the big tree, the Jacquelline Hillier
Elm here. The two shrubs with the white tips on either side of the photo are White Pygmy Cypress. I'm working on getting more Miniature Daisies in stock and I'll certainly let you be the first to know!
Shopping Tip: Rulers Rule...
I was reminded the other day how handy it is to have a ruler beside me when searching for products for the online store and wanted to pass this awesome tip on to you.
Even though you know how big an inch or two is, having a ruler beside you when you shop for miniature accessories is invaluable. It instantly delivers the size of the item you are looking at, and eliminates any guesswork or miscalculations.
If you leave the measuring up to your eye, unless you are great at it, you might end up with something too small or too big for your miniature garden scene.
In fact, I bought two different items from a supplier because I wasn't paying attention to the sizes - does anyone need an oversized Griffin, by chance? How about a "large" mermaid sculpture? (Hit reply if you are serious because I don't know what to do with them now...Lol!)
And, I make sure to put the measurements and scale in each and every listing in the online store but there is still a little room to make an out-of-scale decision if you are only guessing at how "big" 2 ¾" is - especially when shopping for miniatures on the computer. Have a ruler handy so you can "see" the size immediately - take it from my experience, it really
helps.
New and Back in Stock Items are coming in each week - check back often!

ABOUT OUR SHIPPING:
We ship internationally (- but not the plants!)
All shipping costs are checked by Steve and we refund any savings promptly because of our wide range of unique inventory: we ship tiny miniatures, heavy patio materials and living plants, sometimes the automatic shipping calculator "packs" the order in multiple boxes which costs more. Steve can pack better than any online shipping calculator can - if we can save you money on
shipping, we will.
MORE ABOUT OUR SHIPPING: There is some confusion when checking out of our online store and seeing the shipping option of "Priority Mail." Priority Mail is the term the United States Post System calls their services. Anything over 1 pound
gets shipped by Priority Mail. They have done-away with Parcel Post. ~> It does not mean you get "priority" over anyone else's order. It's just what they call it. We are not able to send any order over a pound any other way. We choose to stay with USPS because they are least expensive, 98% reliable and they usually get your orders to you within 3 days at most. We've priced other services and USPS is our choice to save you money and ship your plants to you safely and quickly.
:o)
We appreciate and serve everyone regardless of race, color, gender, politics or religion. Viva la difference! If we were all the same, the world would be a very, very boring place to live.
We believe in Oneness, Kindness & Love.
