Hi !
Spring has sprung! I hope this finds you enjoying the spring wherever you may be!
While the sun has come out here in the Great PNW for the last couple of days, it is still a bit chilly at night! Thankfully our miniature garden trees and plants don't mind the evening dips in temperatures at all, but if you've bought your full-sized garden annuals early like I have, (I can't resist!) my Fuchsias and Geraniums, they'll still need some cover at night. ~> Put a
big, poly-pot / nursery pot upside-down over them, rather than fuss with a cloth cover that might blow-away - just remember to take it off in the morning.
So, as spring dictates, it's time for plants and more plants! Plants make me happy! I suspect they make you happy too simply because you are reading this. ;o) I'm like a kid in a candy store - AND if you consider all the wee awesome miniatures to play with, in the garden... I'm smitten. And obsessed. But you've probably figured that out by now.
Enough with the chit chat - let's get inspired to do a lil' gardening, shall we?
Please stay safe, stay grounded & stay creative with a lil' miniature gardening. If you are ready to take your hobby to the next level this spring and summer to help you "stay put" and stay safe, here are three different ways to do it, at multiple price points - something for everybody! :o)
Whatever you do make it fun & Happy Spring!
ABOVE: The Washtub Garden. Left to Right: Gemstone Hinoki, Dwarf Azalea, Sky Pencil Holly, Unknown Hinoki (see more below) and the trunk of a Fernspray Gold Hinoki with Alpine Ferns at the base.

Make 'em Match the Occassion! You can paint a lot of the miniatures to match the occasion. I use acrylic
paint that you can find in any craft stores. (Utrecht is my fave and available online.) I painted tiny rocks to look like eggs, above in the basket, as
well s the handles of the garden tools above.
The paint will age gracefully, as all paint does outside, large or small; that just adds to the charm.

Above: An under-performing Hinoki Cypress! Unacceptable! Life is TOO short! :o) No, it really needs to be shown the compost bin OR I can plant this in my full-sized garden bed, in a spot that's
out-of-view, where it will get the right light and watering, and it might recover nicely. Note that this may take at least a year to show some real growth. If it doesn't recover, I certainly got my money's worth out of it, and I thank it for its service...
Re-Evaluating Your Miniature Garden Plants
Spring is one of the best times to re-evaluate what works and what doesn't in your miniature garden. It's time to toss-out or change what isn't performing well, what annoys you or what simply does make you smile. After a year like we've had - life is just too short to entertain any plant that doesn't cut the mustard!
Remember that plants don't grow on trees - they ARE trees!
Worried about the cost of switching out under-performers? Remember that you buy bouquets of flowers - technically already dead - that cost as much as a miniature garden tree. The flowers might last a week but the wee tree will last years...

PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITES:
ABOUT OUR SHIPPING:
We ship internationally (- but not the plants!)
All shipping costs are checked by Steve and we refund any savings promptly because of our wide range of unique inventory: we ship tiny miniatures, heavy patio materials and living plants, sometimes the automatic shipping calculator "packs" the order in multiple boxes which costs more. Steve can pack better than any online shipping calculator can - if we can save you money on
shipping, we will.
MORE ABOUT OUR SHIPPING: There is some confusion when checking out of our online store and seeing the shipping option of "Priority Mail." Priority Mail is the term the United States Post System calls their services. Anything over 1 pound
gets shipped by Priority Mail. They have done-away with Parcel Post. ~> It does not mean you get "priority" over anyone else's order. It's just what they call it. We are not able to send any order over a pound any other way. We choose to stay with USPS because they are least expensive, 98% reliable and they usually get your orders to you within 3 days at most. We've priced other services and USPS is our choice to save you money and ship your plants to you safely and quickly.
:o)
We appreciate and serve everyone regardless of race, color, gender, politics or religion. Viva la difference! If we were all the same, the world would be a very, very boring place to live.
We believe in Oneness, Kindness & Love.
