Hi !
Spring is starting to do its thing here in the Pacific Northwest and I could not be more pleased! The robin's have been calling for a mate for the last week, the cherry trees are blooming with the plum trees following shortly, and the spring bulbs are starting to burst. I hope that I can relate some spring enthusiasm to you if your area is still in winter to help put a
skip in your step too!
We've been busy getting the store fluffed-up for you! We're excited about the season ahead and hope you are too.
We're seeing a lot of new subscribers! Welcome! Hit reply with any questions so I know what answers to bring forward for you. Although I have been blogging since 2006 via my Mini Garden Guru blog, we've been doing this for 20 years now and sometimes I can't see the forest for the trees. (<~Punny!) Just hit reply...
Aaaaand, as promised: First dibs! Yay!!
SPRING PLANTS ARE IN STOCK!
NEW trees and shrubs were JUST posted in the
store late last night, as well as a new crop of "miniature
garden bedding plants" - aka ground covers!
Remember that purchase reserves the trees
if you are not ready for them yet.
( Leave a note on when to ship them in the comment box
when checking out - if you miss that, email us -> hit reply.
Thank for your all your kind notes of encouragement and support. Please know that your notes inspire me too! Together, we are a circle of inspiration! Cue a big, group, "Awwww!" <3
Please stay safe, stay grounded & stay creative with a lil' miniature gardening.
Whatever you do make it fun,
ABOVE from left to right: Dwarf Mondo Grass, Elf Dwarf Spruce, Natalie Heather and Red Thyme. A full-sun pot hardy to about zone 5.

A chair is a good spot to keep the tiny details BUT in getting this scene together I dropped the wee trowel on the lawn and need go back and find it. Lol! The tiniest things can be a bit frustrating to keep track of but the
cute-factor may make up for it. Just be sure to move them carefully and, as I mentioned last week, take them in for the night if you're playing outside to help keep track of the wee things.

A note about your dormant plants...
ICYMI - RESERVE YOUR SPRING TREES & SHRUBS
So, it's that time of year! While we always try to have a great selection of miniature garden trees and shrubs, not all the varieties are available at all times. To give all a fair chance at the spring trees and shrubs that we offer, we have a "purchase reserves the trees" program that we ONLY offer to our Mini Garden Gazette subscribers.
Which really means, if you are still frozen and see and miniature garden trees and/or shrubs that you like now, you can order them now and tell us when to send them.
This is ONLY for trees and shrubs - we can't save the ground covers or perennials for you unfortunately. *It's simply a matter of the timing: after 4 more months of the plant being in the nursery container during springtime, the biggest growth period of the year, the plant gets a bit stressed and we are just not able to provide you with a quality plant after
being held for the 3 or 4 months. Note that we always have a terrific spring selection of ground covers so not to worry!

ABOUT OUR SHIPPING:
We ship internationally (- but not the plants!)
All shipping costs are checked by Steve and we refund any savings promptly because of our wide range of unique inventory: we ship tiny miniatures, heavy patio materials and living plants, sometimes the automatic shipping calculator "packs" the order in multiple boxes which costs more. Steve can pack better than any online shipping calculator can - if we can save you money on
shipping, we will.
MORE ABOUT OUR SHIPPING: There is some confusion when checking out of our online store and seeing the shipping option of "Priority Mail." Priority Mail is the term the United States Post System calls their services. Anything over 1 pound
gets shipped by Priority Mail. They have done-away with Parcel Post. ~> It does not mean you get "priority" over anyone else's order. It's just what they call it. We are not able to send any order over a pound any other way. We choose to stay with USPS because they are least expensive, 98% reliable and they usually get your orders to you within 3 days at most. We've priced other services and USPS is our choice to save you money and ship your plants to you safely and quickly.
:o)
We appreciate and serve everyone regardless of race, color, gender, politics or religion. Viva la difference! If we were all the same, the world would be a very, very boring place to live.
We believe in Oneness, Kindness & Love.
