Hi !
Happy St. Patricks Day! Which really means Happy Spring!
The Spring Equinox is THIS Saturday so it's official! Now let's just get the weather to cooperate eh?
I always celebrated St. Patrick's Day because my grandmother loved it so, but I always felt that I was more Scottish than Irish - probably because when I was in Scotland, I saw a LOT of people that looked like my cousins. But I took that ancestry test the year before last only to discover I wasn't Scottish/Irish - I was Irish with only a wee-dash of Scottish! Aye!!
Lol! So, this Irish thing is kinda new to me and this day has taken on a new meaning for me: as a reason to celebrate just being Irish!
~> May the luck of the Irish be with you each and every day!
~> And stay away from the green beer...
More fun to be had below, grab a cuppa...
Please stay safe, stay grounded & stay creative with a lil' miniature gardening.
Whatever you do make it fun,
ABOVE: Fun with Sedum cuttings! This garden has been together for about 2 ½ years. Once the new growth appears down-around the base of each stem, I'll trim it back, just above a set of buds.

A "Little" About Us at
Two Green Thumbs:
About Our Plants: We take a great deal of care in choosing our plants for our Miniature Garden Center Store. We have puh-lenty of opportunities to sell a LOT of other plants - but they have to pass through me (Janit) first.
Which really means:
- if they don't survive and thrive with my busy lifestyle, I don't offer them.
- If they don't behave, and grow out of scale within one season, I don't offer them.
- AND if they don't mimic full-sized plants and trees, I don't offer them either.
Our miniature garden plants are tried, tested and true!
About Our Accessories: A lot of our products are either assembled here at our studios, are our own creations, or made exclusively for us. They are chosen for:
- the realism and/or authenticity
- the ability to withstand, or age gracefully, with the water and weather.
- or they can be refreshed, renewed or repainted.
It's not an easy business model but it's how we separate ourselves from the rest of the competition and lead the hobby by innovating, researching and developing all things gardening in miniature!

ICYMI - RESERVE YOUR SPRING TREES & SHRUBS
So, it's that time of year! While we always try to have a great selection of miniature garden trees and shrubs, not all the varieties are available at all times. To give all a fair chance at the spring trees and shrubs that we offer, we have a "purchase reserves the trees" program that we ONLY offer to our Mini Garden Gazette subscribers.
Which really means, if you are still frozen and see and miniature garden trees and/or shrubs that you like now, you can order them now and tell us when to send them.
This is ONLY for trees and shrubs - we can't save the ground covers or perennials for you unfortunately. *It's simply a matter of the timing: after 4 more months of the plant being in the nursery container during springtime, the biggest growth period of the year, the plant gets a bit stressed and we are just not able to provide you with a quality plant after
being held for the 3 or 4 months. Note that we always have a terrific spring selection of ground covers so not to worry!

ABOUT OUR SHIPPING:
We ship internationally (- but not the plants!)
All shipping costs are checked by Steve and we refund any savings promptly because of our wide range of unique inventory: we ship tiny miniatures, heavy patio materials and living plants, sometimes the automatic shipping calculator "packs" the order in multiple boxes which costs more. Steve can pack better than any online shipping calculator can - if we can save you money on
shipping, we will.
MORE ABOUT OUR SHIPPING: There is some confusion when checking out of our online store and seeing the shipping option of "Priority Mail." Priority Mail is the term the United States Post System calls their services. Anything over 1 pound
gets shipped by Priority Mail. They have done-away with Parcel Post. ~> It does not mean you get "priority" over anyone else's order. It's just what they call it. We are not able to send any order over a pound any other way. We choose to stay with USPS because they are least expensive, 98% reliable and they usually get your orders to you within 3 days at most. We've priced other services and USPS is our choice to save you money and ship your plants to you safely and quickly.
:o)
We appreciate and serve everyone regardless of race, color, gender, politics or religion. Viva la difference! If we were all the same, the world would be a very, very boring place to live.
We believe in Oneness, Kindness & Love.
