Hi !
Happy Weekend!
Now that the plants in my Mardi Gras garden have relaxed a bit after the icy temps and snow storm last weekend, I had a chance to "light it up" even more. I've included the plant details below. See more photos of this garden set-up at the base of a Fatsia plant in last Tuesday's Gazette.
For our friends to the South that are hopefully digging yourself out of the winter's latest challenge: Here's a new blog on Gardening in Texas in Extreme Weather Events. Advice and insight for miniature gardens and full-sized gardens too.
Please stay safe, stay grounded & stay creative with a lil' miniature gardening.
Thank you for subscribing! More to come...

ICYMI - RESERVE YOUR SPRING TREES & SHRUBS
So, it's that time of year! While we always try to have a great selection of miniature garden trees and shrubs, not all the varieties are available at all times. To give all a fair chance at the spring trees and shrubs that we offer, we have a "purchase reserves the trees" program that we ONLY offer to our Mini Garden Gazette subscribers.
Which really means, if you are still frozen and see and miniature garden trees and/or shrubs that you like now, you can order them now and tell us when to send them.
This is ONLY for trees and shrubs - we can't save the ground covers or perennials for you unfortunately. *It's simply a matter of the timing: after 4 more months of the plant being in the nursery container during springtime, the biggest growth period of the year, the plant gets a bit stressed and we are just not able to provide you with a quality plant after
being held for the 3 or 4 months. Note that we always have a terrific spring selection of ground covers so not to worry!

ABOUT OUR SHIPPING:
We ship internationally (- but not the plants!)
All shipping costs are checked by Steve and we refund any savings promptly because of our wide range of unique inventory: we ship tiny miniatures, heavy patio materials and living plants, sometimes the automatic shipping calculator "packs" the order in multiple boxes which costs more. Steve can pack better than any online shipping calculator can - if we can save you money on
shipping, we will.
MORE ABOUT OUR SHIPPING: There is some confusion when checking out of our online store and seeing the shipping option of "Priority Mail." Priority Mail is the term the United States Post System calls their services. Anything over 1 pound
gets shipped by Priority Mail. They have done-away with Parcel Post. ~> It does not mean you get "priority" over anyone else's order. It's just what they call it. We are not able to send any order over a pound any other way. We choose to stay with USPS because they are least expensive, 98% reliable and they usually get your orders to you within 3 days at most. We've priced other services and USPS is our choice to save you money and ship your plants to you safely and quickly.
:o)
We appreciate and serve everyone regardless of race, color, gender, politics or religion. Viva la difference! If we were all the same, the world would be a very, very boring place to live.
We believe in Oneness, Kindness & Love.
