Hi ,
I hope this finds you and yours safe and well and enjoying the Season in your area.
Okay, I realize there might "seem" like there's a disconnect here - as the northeastern states are bracing for a "cyclone bomb" of a winter storm that is making its way to their shores - and here I am decorating with quilting batting for snow. Lol! Well - I AM here for your entertainment purposes and I do hope I've done my job.
Note, however, that these photos were take a couple of days ago before the cyclone bomb news... :o) Also - on getting snowed: note that quilting batting is easy to clean up but another suggestion from a fellow miniature gardener: use perlite for mini snow!
Happy Hanukkah to all who celebrate it! I've collecting all my blue and white decor in an effort to make a miniature Hanukkah garden for you. It's a good way to show you how colors alone can make a theme come together and you don't really need any holiday decor per se to make it happen if you don't want to. More deets below...
As an entrepreneur, I would also like to urge you to support your tiny, local, brick and mortar businesses this holiday Season. I imagine most are down to skeleton staffing but still need the holiday sales to survive. Most are offering different ways to shop and some of them already have online stores or they are going through their facebook page to cater to customers.
Just google the store name and follow the links to see what choices they have for you to shop. (If you are getting any gift certificates from them, just make sure they have a way to reimburse you - in writing - if they don't make it through this coming winter.) Please support micro businesses, they really need us now!
Please stay safe, stay grounded & stay creative with a lil' miniature gardening.
Whatever you do make it fun,
