Something Fun, This Way Comes....

Hi ,
I hope this finds you and yours safe and well.
We had a busy week changing over the nursery area for winter. While I am delighted in the fact that I actually did this with time to spare this year, it's always with a ting of sadness that I say goodbye to summer - and taking down that shade cloth and folding it up for winter really brings it home!
But, alas, with each new season brings new hope and new ideas to explore and share. I do love digging out the seasonal boxes of miniatures and discovering the previous years ideas and finds!
Please stay safe, stay grounded & stay creative with a lil' miniature gardening. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to our fellow MGs down in the path of hurricane Delta. We hope it's over fast and everyone stays safe. Please know that we are watching and waiting with you.
Whatever you do make it fun,
ABOVE:That is a Lemon Cypress (aka Monteray or Wilma Cypress,) with Dwarf London Pride Saxifrage (rosettes,) Blue Star Creeper (larger leaves,) and Baby Tears. The Baby Tears is the least hardy, so that makes this garden hardy to Zone 7.
PS - A HUGE miniature garden THANK YOU to Mary from CA and Pinky from CA - who bought us a bunch of
coffees (!!<3) to thank us for all our hard work delivering free inspiration and free info-tainment on gardening in miniature. Thank you for your support! :o)
A Great Reason to Keep
Miniature Gardening this Season
I'm not sure if it matters if you've just stepped in to this new & wonderful hobby, or if you've been miniature gardening for years now, the gift-giving season opens up a wealth of opportunity for all miniature gardeners.
You see, not only is a miniature garden fun to give AND fun to get - the upcoming holidays are a PERFECT opportunity to explore your hobby even MORE!
Because you can practice your hobby AND create unique, personal gifts at the same time!
The only caveat I need to mention - because you know me, I put honesty above sales - is that if the receiver is NOT a plant person, don't even try giving them a living miniature garden, unless you make a faux one for them. (Which is fun as well. Let me know if you want to know more about this. Hit reply.)
If the person isn't a plant person, they will take all the burden of taking care of the plants and put it upon themselves. They'll worry about it and fret wether they are taking care of it properly. They'll worry that you might find out that they killed it. And, they will totally blame themselves that they killed a plant (even thought that is part of the learning curve of
gardening.)
And you don't want to give anyone a gift to worry about, right? But hey, they can always have fun with the garden accessories to create a room box or windowsill scene! :o)
NOW if they ARE plant people and/or want to learn HOW to grow plants - well, then, that's a completely different story and let the miniature gardening begin! Learning to garden through miniature gardening is an ideal way to get their hands dirty...

PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITES:
ABOUT OUR SHIPPING: We ship internationally (- but not the plants!) All shipping costs are checked by Steve and we refund any savings promptly because of our wide range of unique inventory: we ship tiny miniatures, heavy patio materials and living plants, sometimes the automatic shipping
calculator "packs" the order in multiple boxes which costs more. Steve can pack better than any online shipping calculator can - if we can save you money on shipping, we will.
MORE ABOUT OUR SHIPPING: There is some confusion when checking out of our online
store and seeing the shipping option of "Priority Mail." Priority Mail is the
term the United States Post System calls their services. Anything over 1 pound gets shipped by Priority Mail. They have done-away with Parcel Post. ~> It does not mean you get "priority" over anyone else's order. It's just what they call it. We are not able to send any order over a pound any other way. We choose to stay with USPS because they are least expensive, 98% reliable and they usually get your orders to you within 3 days at most. We've priced other services and USPS is our
choice to save you money, ship your plants to you safely and quickly. :o)
We appreciate and serve everyone regardless of race, color, gender, politics or religion. Viva la difference! If we were all the same, the world would be a very, very boring place to live.
We believe in Oneness, Kindness & Love.
REMINDER: This email is not spam. You are receiving this because you signed up for it and then you confirmed your subscription through your own email. If you do not want this newsletter, we'll be sad to see you go, you will miss out on a lot of upcoming fun with this new hobby, and you'll have a hard time finding a better hobby, but please unsubscribe using the link
