Enjoying Fall in the
Miniature Garden!

Hi ,
I hope this finds you and yours safe and well.
Apologies for missing last week - it was "one of THOSE weeks" where I got a lot of little things moved along but when I sat down to write you - I had a big batch 'o' nuthin'!! Doh! You know I don't like to waste your time if I don't have anything new to offer BUT I'm making up for it this week... SO, dig in!
I've got some fall insights for you, a bunch of new trees and shrubs in stock this week AND, I'm very excited to introduce my new miniature garden art accessories that I've been dreaming for years now! Doing the happy dance...
There's another lesson from our Miniature Gardening Beginner Series up on the Mini Garden Guru blog this week.
There is more spooky Halloween items back in stock this week and we'll expedite any order that has anything Halloween in it - for you, our subscribers only.
Please stay safe, stay grounded & stay creative with a lil' miniature gardening. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to our fellow MGs down in the path of hurricane Delta. We hope it's over fast and everyone stays safe. Please know that we are watching and waiting with you.
Whatever you do make it fun,
ABOVE: From the Archives: I love this photo! I think it's the dog, eye-ing the bones on the table that do it for me. Lol! Compress Juniper in the front, right, going counter-clockwise is the Blue Moon Cypress, Variegated Dwarf Lily Turf, dwarf Hens and Chick and Wooly Thyme. A hardy, full sun garden - hardy to zone 4 or about -30F.
PS - A big miniature garden THANK YOU to Helene from IN, Maki from CA and Rhonda, my neighbor, Lol! - who bought
us coffees to thank us for all our hard work delivering free inspiration and free info-tainment on gardening in miniature. Thank you for your support! :o)
Falling for the Fall Season
Aside from the tiny Halloween decorations that you can have fun with this season, the fall months are a chance to look back on the summer season and note what worked well for you - and what didn't. Take notes or photos of your insights so you remember what to do next spring.
~> Did all your plant choices thrive? Did some plants die quickly once you turned your attention to something else for a week? Which plants were forgiving? Which plants grew way to fast and invaded the rest of your miniature garden? And, which plants can you divide now, to get them situated for next spring? (Email me if you have any questions about any of the plants you got from us for more
insight. Info@TwoGreenThumbs.com)
~> Now is a good time to mark the plants that are deciduous. These plants will die right back to the ground and you may forget about them next spring. I've done that too many times! I'll see a bare spot in the miniature garden bed and think, "Well I can plant something there now." only to find out that I've dug up Hosta bulbs or dug into a miniature Astilbe. So, not only mark the spot, but take a photo of the plant while it's there so you know how it looks in your garden
design.
~~~
Yay! I've been wanting to get these miniature garden metal silhouettes made for years now! The shape is welded on a rod and will last FOREVER! Need I say they are weatherproof, freeze-proof and waterproof too? The octopus is just
too cute and I have moose, wolf, unicorn and eagle shapes, and a peace sign too - 'cause we ALL need some peace these days... <3 See all the new metal garden art
here.
PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITES:
ABOUT OUR SHIPPING: We ship internationally (- but not the plants!) All shipping costs are checked by Steve and we refund any savings promptly because of our wide range of unique inventory: we ship tiny miniatures, heavy patio materials and living plants, sometimes the automatic shipping
calculator "packs" the order in multiple boxes which costs more. Steve can pack better than any online shipping calculator can - if we can save you money on shipping, we will.
MORE ABOUT OUR SHIPPING: There is some confusion when checking out of our online
store and seeing the shipping option of "Priority Mail." Priority Mail is the
term the United States Post System calls their services. Anything over 1 pound gets shipped by Priority Mail. They have done-away with Parcel Post. ~> It does not mean you get "priority" over anyone else's order. It's just what they call it. We are not able to send any order over a pound any other way. We choose to stay with USPS because they are least expensive, 98% reliable and they usually get your orders to you within 3 days at most. We've priced other services and USPS is our
choice to save you money, ship your plants to you safely and quickly. :o)
We appreciate and serve everyone regardless of race, color, gender, politics or religion. Viva la difference! If we were all the same, the world would be a very, very boring place to live.
We believe in Oneness, Kindness & Love.
REMINDER: This email is not spam. You are receiving this because you signed up for it and then you confirmed your subscription through your own email. If you do not want this newsletter, we'll be sad to see you go, you will miss out on a lot of upcoming fun with this new hobby, and you'll have a hard time finding a better hobby, but please unsubscribe using the link
