Hi ,
I hope this finds you and yours safe and well. A heartfelt shoutout to our neighbors in WA, CA, OR and BC who are experiencing these unprecedented wildfires this season. Our hearts are so with you. <3
It's been a difficult week for a lot of folks so I'll do my best to give you a "little" break from the world - all puns intended.
And about that escapism title: when I was growing up back in Toronto, my parents would constantly chide me for being a dreamer. They were comparing me to my 4 brothers and sisters who were not even half as creative as I. "Her head is in the clouds," or "She's somewhere else," - they said that like it was a bad thing. Lol! :o) Well, now I wear those labels like a badge of
honor and help others do the same!
More validation from brainiac Albert Einstein: "The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge, it's imagination."
Need I say more? I guess we're all pret-ty intelligent! So let's get busy:
There's a few new, exclusive products up on the store, new 'Shop by Scale' sections to help make shopping by scale easier, a new installment on our Miniature Gardening Beginner Series and ... I could NOT wait any longer!! It's time to start thinking about your Halloween scene in your miniature garden!
Remember that fall is the BEST time to plant an in-ground garden. See why in the blog-link here: How to Save Time & Money on Miniature Gardening. And ANYTIME is a great time to plant a container, which makes this hobby super-fun and super-accessible as usual.
Please stay safe, stay grounded & stay creative with a lil' miniature gardening - and please be kind to one another, we are all in this one world together.
Whatever you do make it fun,
ABOVE: I always have at least one "unkempt" miniature garden that is PERFECT for a scary Halloween scene! The tree in the back is the Seiju Dwarf Elm. The pretty shrub in the right corner is a Golden Threadbranch Cypress. You can see how the groundcovers have all grown together so it's time for "little" gardening. This garden is hardy to -20F.
PS - A big miniature garden THANK YOU to Christy from right here in WA state, who bought us a
coffee to thank us for all our hard work delivering free inspiration and free info-tainment on gardening in miniature. Thank you Christy! :o)

PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITES:
ABOUT OUR SHIPPING: We ship internationally (- but not the plants!) All shipping costs are checked by Steve and we refund any savings promptly because of our wide range of unique inventory: we ship tiny miniatures, heavy patio materials and living plants, sometimes the automatic shipping
calculator "packs" the order in multiple boxes which costs more. Steve can pack better than any online shipping calculator can - if we can save you money on shipping, we will.
MORE ABOUT OUR SHIPPING: There is some confusion when checking out of our online
store and seeing the shipping option of "Priority Mail." Priority Mail is the
term the United States Post System calls their services. Anything over 1 pound gets shipped by Priority Mail. They have done-away with Parcel Post. ~> It does not mean you get "priority" over anyone else's order. It's just what they call it. We are not able to send any order over a pound any other way. We choose to stay with USPS because they are least expensive, 98% reliable and they usually get your orders to you within 3 days at most. We've priced other services and USPS is our
choice to save you money, ship your plants to you safely and quickly. :o)
We appreciate and serve everyone regardless of race, color, gender, politics or religion. Viva la difference! If we were all the same, the world would be a very, very boring place to live... We believe in Oneness, Kindness & Love.
REMINDER: This email is not spam. You are receiving this because you signed up for it and then you confirmed your subscription through your own email. If you do not want this newsletter, we'll be sad to see you go, you will miss out on a lot of upcoming fun with this new hobby, and you'll have a hard time finding a better hobby, but please unsubscribe using the link
below.
