Hi ,
Aaah summer! I'm making an extra effort to appreciate every single day this summer and get outside in the garden. It really has become my sanctuary with this pandemic keeping me at home all...the...time!! But it has given me the chance to redo some miniature gardens, rescue some older trees and play with new ideas for the Miniature Garden Society.
I'm continuing our series for the new miniature gardeners on my blog the Mini Garden Guru, my Miniature Gardening Series. Today it's about "The Water" Please leave any questions in the comments on the blog so others can see (a) what I've missed! :o) and (b) the answer just in case other readers have the same question.
If you are looking for plants, we got more than a few plants back in stock this week. You can look them up by light or your planting
zone. (Find you planting zone by Googling, "USDA zone for [my zipcode]" and it will come up. Scroll down a bit, the menu is on the left
I'm caught up on a lot of little tasks but I feel that I've missed some connections. If you are still waiting for help or an email from me, please let me know. My secretarial skills tend to be intermittent during the busy seasons. :o)
Please stay safe, stay healthy, stay grounded & stay creative with Ma Nature and a lil' miniature gardening.
Whatever you do make it fun,
ABOVE: A corner of our "big" miniature garden. I would normally cut back the Gold n' Rubies Spirea branches that are hovering in the right corner but the sun shining through them looked so pretty.
PS - Love to lurk? Recently, it was brought to our attention that there are a number of you that love to lurk - which we love to hear, but we love our customers dearly because they help us keep this Mini Garden Gazette free for everyone!
Anything NEW takes time, energy and money and new ideas can
chip away at any budget.
So, if you are not a customer, how about a coffee to thank us for all our free
infotainment that we provide throughout this Gazette and all our websites and social channels? It's easy to do, click here and we'll thank you in next week's Gazette! It all goes toward the gardening in miniature
hobby!
A big miniature garden THANK YOU to:
- Pam from OH
- Vicki from CA
Remember: To take photos of your miniature gardens while
they are looking nice and pretty! Not only can you share your creativity with your friends and family, you are documenting your miniature garden. Photos really come in handy especially if you have dormant plants that die-back right to the ground in the winter. The photo will be a reference for you before you dig next spring.

A miniature garden for the miniature garden. I think this one is about two years old. That is the Rolly Polly Hens and Chicks with a small-size (¼" scale) birdbath that is back in stock this week. I have a sample-kit of my Mini Patio Mix for that wee patio. I painted
it that rust color. Stay tuned for more of those tiny terra cotta pots.
A HUGE AND VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU
TO ALL THE FIRST RESPONDERS
AND THE PEOPLE ON THE FRONT LINES!
YOU ARE PERMANENTLY IN OUR PRAYERS.
( And thank you for your orders to help us stay open too!
Without you, we would not be able to do this! )

PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITES:
ABOUT OUR SHIPPING: We ship internationally (- but not the plants!) All shipping costs are checked by Steve and we refund any savings promptly because of our wide range of unique inventory: we ship tiny miniatures, heavy patio materials and living plants, sometimes the automatic shipping
calculator "packs" the order in multiple boxes which costs more. Steve can pack better than any online shipping calculator can - if we can save you money on shipping, we will.
MORE ABOUT OUR SHIPPING: There is some confusion when checking out of our online
store and seeing the shipping option of "Priority Mail." Priority Mail is the
term the United States Post System calls their services. Anything over 1 pound gets shipped by Priority Mail. They have done-away with Parcel Post. ~> It does not mean you get "priority" over anyone else's order. It's just what they call it. We are not able to send any order over a pound any other way. We choose to stay with USPS because they are least expensive, 98% reliable and they usually get your orders to you within 3 days at most. We've priced other services and USPS is our
choice to save you money, ship your plants to you safely and quickly. :o)
We appreciate and serve everyone regardless of race, color, gender, politics or religion. Viva la difference! If we were all the same, the world would be a very, very boring place to live... We believe in Oneness, Kindness & Love.
REMINDER: This email is not spam. You are receiving this because you signed up for it and then you confirmed your subscription through your email. If you do not want this newsletter, we'll be sad to see you go, you will miss out on a lot of upcoming fun with this new hobby, and you'll have a hard time finding a better hobby, but please unsubscribe using the link
below.
