Hi ,
Hello Summer! Can you tell we FINALLY have summer weather here in Seattle? I'm doing the happy dance! I hope this finds you enjoying the summer wherever you are.
In this Gazette, I'm excited to have some new trees and shrubs in stock that are perfect for gardening in miniature - especially the Kingsville Boxwood! I've ordered lots but the quantity is still limited. It takes a long time for some of these trees to get big enough for shipping so the best time to buy a true miniature plant is when you see it!
And I'm restocked on our religious figures, St. Francis, Lady of Fatima, Jesus, Joseph and more - perfect for your meditation or prayer gardens. My supplier of my buddha figures is still AWOL from the shut down but I'm still working on it. Stay tuned. All religions are welcome here - let me know if you're looking for anything in particular for your meditation gardens.
On the Mini Garden Guru blog today, I'm continuing for the new miniature gardeners, my Miniature Gardening 101 Series. Today it's "Outdoor vs. Indoors." Please leave any questions in the comments on the blog so others can see (a) what I've missed! :o) and (b) the answer just in case they have the same question.
Thank you Dennis for your miniature garden idea for my monthly series!
Please stay safe, stay healthy, stay grounded & stay creative with Ma Nature and a lil' miniature gardening. And, during this trifecta of issues that we are wading through and trying to solve, please stay kind to each other. We are all going through "something" during this weird period in history and, with a little grace - okay, sometimes a LOT of grace - we will get through it
to a better place. <3
Whatever you do make it fun - with a little love,
ABOVE: A blast from the past - our Miniature Houseboat Garden. It won Best of Show at the Seattle Dollhouse Miniature Show waaaaay back in 2006.
PS - Love to lurk? Recently, it was brought to our attention that there are a number of you that love to lurk - which we love to hear, but we love our customers dearly because they help us keep this Mini Garden Gazette free for everyone!
Anything NEW takes time, energy and money and new ideas can
chip away at any budget.
So, if you are not a customer, how about a coffee or two to thank us for all our free infotainment that we provide throughout this Gazette and all our websites and social channels? It's easy to do, click here and we'll thank you in next week's Gazette! It all goes toward the gardening in miniature hobby!
A big miniature garden THANK YOU to:
- Jan from TX
- Shellane from MO
- Tammy from TN
Our Best of Show Winner at the Seattle Dollhouse Miniature Show in 2006.
We made the 3' by 2' by 8" deep planter and we still have it too! With an 8" depth, your miniature garden can stay together for years and years. You can easily swap-out plants each season, decorate it for any occasion, renovate a part of it to try a pond or lake, and much more.
That's a row of Jean's Dilly Dwarf Spruces behind the planter, the bigger trees in front of them are, from left to right, a bigger Jean's Dilly Dwarf Albert Spruce, the Baldwin Variegated Hinoki Cypress and a Sky Pencil Holly. This planter is hardy to -20F.

The Kingsville Boxwood is a favorite for the miniature garden. We've been growing them for years and years in our miniature gardens. Finding this gem for our online store has me inspired to fix up the one that we have ours in, so we can show you what it looks like! Stay tuned!

We wow'd the miniaturists at the Seattle Dollhouse Show because they didn't think anything was real. We would catch people poking the water to check to see if it was resin. Lol! Find a similar project in the first Gardening in Miniature book, in the "Make a Lake" project. Stay tuned for more photos of this gem.
A HUGE AND VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU

PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITES:
ABOUT OUR SHIPPING: We ship internationally (- but not the plants!) All shipping costs are checked by Steve and we refund any savings promptly because of our wide range of unique inventory: we ship tiny miniatures, heavy patio materials and living plants, sometimes the automatic shipping
calculator "packs" the order in multiple boxes which costs more. Steve can pack better than any online shipping calculator can - if we can save you money on shipping, we will.
MORE ABOUT OUR SHIPPING: There is some confusion when checking out of our online
store and seeing the shipping option of "Priority Mail." Priority Mail is the
term the United States Post System calls their services. Anything over 1 pound gets shipped by Priority Mail. They have done-away with Parcel Post. ~> It does not mean you get "priority" over anyone else's order. It's just what they call it. We are not able to send any order over a pound any other way. We choose to stay with USPS because they are least expensive, 98% reliable and they usually get your orders to you within 3 days at most. We've priced other services and USPS is our
choice to save you money, ship your plants to you safely and quickly. :o)
We appreciate and serve everyone regardless of race, color, gender, politics or religion. Viva la difference! If we were all the same, the world would be a very, very boring place to live... We believe in Oneness, Kindness & Love.
REMINDER: This email is not spam. You are receiving this because you signed up for it and then you confirmed your subscription through your email.
