Getting Ready for Summer!
|
|
Hi ,
Whoa Nelly Again! It's been a super-busy week here, but I had a chance to decorate a garden and I got some evening photos together for you last night, in the rain, for a super-dose of inspiration-photo-essay because - SUMMER IS COMING! Yay!!
:o)
We are about 5 to 7 days in turning around your orders - it must be spring! Let us know if you need it faster and we'll oblige. We are packing as fast as we can, morning, noon and nighttime too.
NOTE that Monday is Memorial Day and a holiday for the post office so some of your orders from this week had to be delayed. It's safer for your plants to "sit" here, rather than somewhere strange over the weekend and remember, we do guarantee your plants during shipment!
Stay safe, stay healthy, get outside with Ma Nature and a lil' miniature gardening!
Whatever you do make it fun,
PS - Melissa from VT “bought us a coffee” this week to thank us for all our free
Infotainment that we provide throughout all our websites and social channels. Thank you for the holla Melissa! Happy Miniature Gardening! :o)

More fun from the Prop Shop Book. The Miniature Flower Arranging lesson is in the Mother's Day chapter. Those light poles are in the July 4th chapter and the sign is from the Birthday Chapter. I do have a Miniature Lamppost Kit but
I'm waiting on some ingredients to arrive. Email me if you are interested in the Mini Lamppost Kit - just hit reply.
That is an Alpine Spirea behind the lamppost and at the base of it are Miniature Daisies that have colonized and are starting to gradually spread themselves.
~~~
That is our Large Cedar Trellis that is made in the USA! It gradually changes to that lovely silver patina color as it ages in place. I made that wee
head-planter and then glued-in some smaller artificial flowers. See the Mother's Day chapter in the Prop Shop book for tips on working with polymer clay in miniature.
The plant that is front of the trellis is a Gentiana that I found at a local garden show several years ago. The table and chair set is on backorder during the shutdown and will be back in stock soon. Stay tuned!
~~~
Rained Out - it was chilly too! I'm leaving this decorated for now, even though we can't have anyone over to see it, I'm doing it for myself. Hope you are too! <3
~~~
REMEMBER, HONOR, RESPECT - The Washington Old Soldier's Home installation with the Miniature Garden Society. It last photo that we took in December, 2020 before the shutdown. This garden is now 3
years old. It's more than likely fine, save for a few weeds and the odd squirrel doing random renovations. I hope we can get to see everyone soon!
~~~
A HUGE AND VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU
TO ALL THE FIRST RESPONDERS
AND THE PEOPLE ON THE FRONT LINES!
YOU ARE PERMANENTLY IN OUR PRAYERS.
( And thank you for your orders to help us stay open too!
Without you, we would not be able to do this! )
Happy Miniature Gardening!

PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITES:
ABOUT OUR SHIPPING: We ship internationally (- but not the plants!) All shipping costs are checked by Steve and we refund any savings promptly because of our wide range of unique inventory: we ship tiny miniatures, heavy patio materials and living plants, sometimes the automatic shipping
calculator "packs" the order in multiple boxes which costs more. Steve can pack better than any online shipping calculator can - if we can save you money on shipping, we will.
MORE ABOUT OUR SHIPPING: There is some confusion when checking out of our online
store and seeing the shipping option of "Priority Mail." Priority Mail is the
term the United States Post System calls their services. Anything over 1 pound gets shipped by Priority Mail. They have done-away with Parcel Post. ~> It does not mean you get "priority" over anyone else's order. It's just what they call it. We are not able to send any order over a pound any other way. We choose to stay with USPS because they are least expensive, 98% reliable and they usually get your orders to you within 3 days at most. We've priced other services and USPS is our
choice to save you money, ship your plants to you safely and quickly. :o)
