Hi ,

I hope this finds you in some sort of spring weather! I think it was trying to snow earlier which I am so not impressed about - but then again a lot of things have been challenging this week and this was the least of it.

The upside is with our cool spring at least the cherry and pear blossoms have been staying on the trees - for weeks now! I think the neighbors must think me really weird because I just stand in front of these huge flower-filled bushes while I'm waiting for my dog, Kitty, and stare at all the flowers in their various states of bloom and smell the odd branch here and there. Lol! Hey, I'm just waiting for my dog.... :o)

There is much to talk about in this Gazette! The photos in this edition are all from my display for the Seattle Miniature Show from last weekend. You'll recognize the garden from (a) the British chapter in the Gardening in Miniature Prop Shop book, and (b) last summer's fairy garden plant-test where I turned the garden into a fairy garden to demonstrate what happens if you just plant annuals starts (like a LOT of folk's recommend doing but I don't.) I'll be going over this again in my new video series - more about that below so grab a cuppa and dig in!

Going LIVE! with Miniature Gardening!

So as I took in all the changes lately, and what is to come in the next couple/few weeks, I was thinking about how I can help or what would be the best thing that I could do to help?

I thought well, I'm grounded at home. I still have all this content to share. Spring is about to happen... so I"m going to go ahead with my plans to keep spreading the joy of gardening in miniature!

It's info-tainment after all!

So head's up - this week, I'm starting a series of live videos to teach anyone and everyone the basics of how to garden in miniature.

I'll be on our Two Green Thumbs' Facebook page AND my Instagram LIVE channel on Saturday, early afternoon Pacific Standard Time.

If you have set up your alerts for either social channel apps, you'll get the alert that I'm on live. I think you can get the replays anytime providing I can press the right buttons after I'm done - which I hope to.

I don't know the exact time because I'm flying solo - so it might be around noon or 1ish! Pacific Standard Time is THREE hours behind east-coast time.

(This isn't easy for me as some of you know - to get myself on camera. Goodness knows how many times I've tried to get a video together and the amount of my video footage that falls on the editing room floor" would surprise you - so I'm going unscripted, unedited and well, just going for it.)

I entered because I wanted to remind all the miniaturists at the Seattle Miniature Show of the hobby of gardening in miniature. :o)

Above: Got 'em. Got 'em. Need 'em. Need 'em. I still need to round-out my collection of awards from The Seattle Miniature Show with a First Place Ribbon. So that really means that next time, I need to be really, really good - but not excellent - next time. :o)
