Hi ,
Hey, I hope this finds you enjoying your gardening in miniature wherever you are. Here in Seattle we've had a very unusual dose of fantastic spring weather which - in all honesty - is why I wasn't able to get a Gazette out last week. As much as I tried to sit down in front of my computer to post and write, the garden, the birds and my dog were ALL calling my name... :o)
Needless to say, I got a bunch of miniature gardening done and, I also got back my flow of new ideas for the Miniature Garden Society, which has invigorated me. "A rested field yields a bountiful harvest" is quite true. If you are stuck - take a break - it works.
So, it's that time of year again! It's "Staycation" time! Who else is like me and can't get away this year for a vacation? Stick with us and we'll make our own, right? We have some teenie tiny, 2" potted cypress that are now in stock that are only 6" tall. AND they are perfect for INDOOR miniature gardening as well.
A number of you have been asking about my Mom after I had to go back last November to help her with her knee surgery. (Yes, miniature gardening is very popular with nurses!) Mom is doing well and in Florida with her gal friends. She's having a bit of trouble with arthritis in her knees so her recovery is slow. But - hey - she's in Florida swimming in the sunshine so all is good... Lol!
We have some new items up in the store this week. Don't let the seasons get in the way for your reason to garden in miniature, there is ALWAYS something to play with in this hobby!
More coming next week. Thank you for reading!
Whatever you do make it fun,
