Hi ,
"We've got to get ourselves back the garden." - Crosby, Stills & Nash, 1970.
I completely agree. I've been watching too much news lately and I've found myself torn between staying in touch with everything that is going on (ugh) and hiding in my backyard, playing with my miniature gardening.
Because, I might me biased here :o) - I think gardening in miniature is the perfect stress reliever and a great balance for this life. You can either play in the soil, trim a tree, fix or customize a miniature, divide an older garden, search for new plants or new ideas, or start a brand new garden or.... or.... I think you got the idea.
Miniature gardening can be as simple or as complex as you like. And as long as you are doing something you enjoy doing, that will spread to other areas of your life too. So, as I tell myself when the world is a bit too much: "Go play, it's good for you."
We hold the victims of Hurricane Dorian in our hearts and hope that all our fellow miniature gardeners on the east coast and in the Carolinas are safe. <3
