Hi ,
It's my most favorite part of winter: the Winter Solstice! I like to think of it as New Year's Eve for the garden - it's all downhill from here, it's only going to get better, the days will get longer and we can spend more time playing outside too.
Yay!
So, I'm going to change it up a bit and wish you a Merry Christmas next week. This is your "Holiday Gazette, Part 1." I thought it too much to try to squeeze in two different occasions into one Gazette and celebrate the holidays a little differently this year! (I know, life on the edge, right? Lol! :o)

live longer, healthier lives, improves our tactile and visual ability, decreases the risk of dementia and all-around, it makes us feel better. But we knew that right? So I hope you make time for gardening wherever you are and know that you can garden in miniature anytime of year or anywhere!

Cyber Monday at Barb's Fairy House, Nebraska. How awesome is this? Miniature Garden Society member, Barb sent me this photo to share with you. It's around a big tree next to her house. I forgot to ask her but,
knowing Barb, that light above the door is "on" and working. CUTE!! She builds everything from scratch (checkout the copper and metal awning!) and shares some of her DIYs (including that super-cute snow shovel,) in the MGS forum. Thanks Barb! This is truly a treat to see!
