Hi ,
As I was gathering my material for this week's Memorial
Day Issue, I realized that I haven't been keeping you up on the progress of our Miniature Garden Society first installation at the Old Soldier's Home here in Orting, Wa.
We just got back from cleaning it up for the Memorial Day today and I must say, it's doing wonderfully - all thanks to the guys that take care of it! You'll
see today's photos here, and I'll get together the progress shots throughout last year and the beginning of this year for next week for you. It's been a pleasure to do!
We have some more new trees and plants in this week and a couple of new accessories too - me thinks we'll need a "Made in the USA" category again - which we are
tickled about! More to come.
If you're in the Seattle area, think about coming to the Sorticulture Garden Art Show. It really is the best garden show in the PNW because it welcomes the smaller growers and garden artists from Washington all over the states. It's this time of year where these artisans do their circuit and
Sorticulture is definitely on their map!
Have a great weekend and we hope you have some miniature gardening planned!
Whatever you do, make it
fun,
