Oh the Trees! Oh the Plants!

Hi ,

I'm like a kid in a candy store when the new trees and plants come in from our beloved growers! It's everything I can do to NOT keep one of each as I'm running out of room in my garden beds. Steve is quick to chime in, "Janit, you have enough plants!" and my response is, "But Steve, I don't have THIS plant." You know you have an obsession when all you really want to do is play in the garden, in any way, and that includes hoarding plants. Lol!

Chicago News....

While I am excited for spring and the new growing season, I do have err on the side of caution and cancel my Chicago gigs, the workshop and lecture at the Chicago Botanical Garden and The Miniature Show. Apologies to all who were counting on me going. With the consistent storms and winter weather still happening in the Illinois area, I could not be confident in selling living plants in the middle of a snowstorm.

In all honesty, whenever I send plants to hotels for a show, the boxes tend to be treated as "regular" mail and are bounced around, dropped, stacked upside-down and shaken-up too much. You'll get much better plants and trees by having us mail you the trees and plants instead.

ICYMI - FOR OUR CUSTOMERS USING OUR NEW STORE! Hey, it's a brand new shopping platform and I couldn't transfer over your information from the old store to the new store so you will have input your email info, shipping and billing information into this shopping cart again.

For "Spring" in Your Area

If you are in an area that isn't close to spring, meaning your soil is still frozen and/or covered in snow, we can hold your trees until you are ready for them. As long as the ground isn't frozen or really wet, you can still plant. Our trees are kept outside here in Seattle where it has been cooler than normal temperatures and they will be fine as long as they are left outdoors.

If you are still frozen, purchase reserves your trees to ship later. Leave a note when checking out, email us or call us with your shipping date. We'll make sure that we connect before we send them. We will combine your orders too!
