The Robins are Back!
Spring is Coming!

**Photos may take a moment to load**

Hi ,

I hope you can understand. I need to change my schedule. When it's dry and sunny out, the office is closed and when it's not, we're open. Lol! I had to take two days off this year - there was NO rain - and it was wonderful! I finally got to work in the garden beds! (ICYMI: I'm in Seattle where it's been raining, like, forever, and thou shalt not work the soil when it's wet or you'll destroy all the good stuff that is in it.)

The photo above is one of my in-ground miniature gardens that has gone to the jungle-stage. Can you see the little figure that's in front of the Compress Juniper tree, getting buried by the Woolly Thyme? That little guy best start running! :o)

So, I've also been enjoying our new store this week. Thank you to the fellow MGs who let me know about dropped links and missing pages! I love you. Lol! No really - I do all this computer stuff by myself and sometimes I can't see for looking. It helps to have a head's up. <3

OH! IT'S NEXT WEEK - YIKES! -  Hey, the Northwest Flower and Garden Show starts next week. I'm doing a demo at 10am on Friday the 9th. Make sure you introduce yourself! I'll be bringing a bunch of ideas from the Gardening in Miniature Prop Shop book.

Have you seen your NEW store yet?

Grab a cuppa, dig in and start dreaming! The robins have arrived here in Seattle and spring is on it's way! I never did care for that groundhog prediction thing...

Whatever you do, make it fun,

ABOVE: Look! A dry miniature garden!

A classic for the miniature garden. This Fruit on Pedestal is a great piece, colorfast, sturdy and made of resin. We drill it and include a stake if you want to put it in the soil.

Greenstone Hinoki Cypress. A true miniature hinoki cypress and just as cute as ever! Hardy to -20F, great in a pot or in the ground  - but it's tiny, so you might want to keep it in a pot. It'll make a terrific middle layer to your garden design! See more here.
