Falling for Fall

**Photos may take a moment to load**

Hi ,

Happy Fall! After the heatwave and smoke-filled skies of our Seattle summer, I'm just loving this fall here in the Great Northwest! We have to love the weather while it's here because, soon enough, we'll get into our rainy season and start growing gills again. But at least we won't have to water the garden. Lol! Always the optimist, eh?

Well, we had to cancel the fairy garden class this Saturday but I have found a way to do something online for you. Thank you for the feedback - I'm now comfortable with video so I'm ready to grow again. :o)

Speaking of video - today's video letter is about conifer dieback so if you love your little conifers, take a moment to watch the video to see what I'm always on about. Remember that the videos are only up for week, then they are archived in the Miniature Garden Society at MiniatureGardenSociety.org. (Members, You'll find the previous, indoor videos under the Gardening section.)

Thank you for being a subscriber!

Remember, whatever you do, make it fun,

ABOVE: From the archives! I decorated some fake nails for the shot. One of the perks of the job... :o)

It's baaaack! A favorite! Brass Buttons aren't really miniature ferns, it's a ground cover that looks like miniature ferns. Lol! Very fun! Prune away runners in springtime to control the growth. Can be divided right away. Leptinella squalida 'Brass Buttons'  See it here.
