Hi ,

Hey, it's about that time to celebrate Moms everywhere! I think Mother's Day is like Earth Day and should be celebrated every day. Without our Mom's we would still be crawling around in diapers, no? :o) Makes an interesting visual at the very least. Lol! 

So a gentle reminder that Mother's Day is May 14th and I guarantee your Mom will love miniature gardening too AND we have you covered if you are like me and have left it to the last minute! Order from either of our stores before Wednesday, the 10th, leave a note in the comment box that you need it for Mom's Day and we'll make it happen! 

I recreated the Mother's Day photo from our new Gardening in Miniature Prop Shop book for the gazette. I saved all the props and will be showing you the before and after shots for the next few weeks while we launch this new book. It is a masterpiece thanks to the efforts of the staff at Timber Press and the photographer, Kate Baldwin. Someone pinch me. :o)

Here's the link for the pre-order for our limited edition, signed & book plated copy. Steve just came up with a very fun idea for the bookplate which I can't wait to create! Yay!

Lol! I do it too. I haven't planned ahead enough for Mother's Day and now I'm scrambling! I really do know when Mother's Day is and I really do know that it happens about the same time every year. It's kinda like rushing around before Christmas - we know it's the same day but for some reason...

SO - Get her into Miniature Gardening! :o)

JUST - Leave a note in the comment box that you need your order for Mother's Day and we'll get it out PRONTO for you!

AND - Last day to order is Wednesday, May 10th, at NOON and you'll get it by Saturday!

Sorting out the Grower 

We couldn't wait any longer to sort this one out. The grower was calling this plant, shown in the two photos below, by the same name for years. Being a bit shy of questioning the grower - well, because, they are the grower, :o) - I would list this plant under the same name too. 

BUT now that we've finally got both in at the same time...

The single-petaled Cranesbill, the first photo, is the 'Bishops Form' and the second photo is called 'Flore Pleno." Whew, good to get that finally sorted. We have both in stock right now here.

The wild foliage of the new Horstmann Mini Dwarf Holly. Who's up for trying one with me? They are so new, all the information that I can find is in Dutch. Lol! It's quite a feast for the eyes! See more photos of the leaves and flowers here.
