 Mini Garden Gazette
Awesome New Trees!

**Photos may take a moment to load**

Hi ,

Happy Fall! We're unusually warm here in Washington State along with the rest of the country. It's been raining a lot too, I've been waiting for my miniature gardens to dry out so I can photograph them with some holiday ideas and it's taking forever! You can see how wet this garden looks with the damp patio and black soil-color. And, while I wait, I play with our new trees that have come in this week! And THEY ARE AWESOME!

So we have some completely new trees in this season - all miniatures or very slow-growing dwarfs: two hemlocks, a couple of spruces, a new boxwood and a Japanese holly just to name few. I've listed them below so you can see them and you'll find the photos, close-ups and growing information in the New-And-Back-In-Stock section of our online Miniature Garden Center store.

We are TwoGreenThumbs.com and do let us know if can help you with your miniature garden hobby. We designed a couple of containers for a customer over in Philadelphia to give her a jump start. She was delighted to just get a nudge in a direction to get the ball rolling - or should I say, get the garden growing? Do let us know if we can help, just hit the reply button!

Whatever you do, make it fun,

You had me at hello. Check out the tiny cones starting to from on the new Hebefolia Canada Hemlock. Not sure they will stick around or not but I'm looking forward to see this one grow up! See more here.

A Unique Gift for (or from)
 a Miniature Gardener!!

(From the Mini Garden Guru blog!)

Check out the wonderful additions to our online miniature garden nursery this season. True miniature and dwarf trees and shrubs!

You're just in time of the holidays: you can really surprise any miniature gardener, fairy gardener, railroad gardener, conifer collector, bonsai artist, shohin or mame artist, or any plant nut for that matter!

These are not easily found and most nurseries don't specialize at these types of plants at all!

Our plants are of the highest quality in the country, if I must say, and they all are "good in the pot" until next spring as long as you keep them watered - even if is it freezing outside (frozen is much better than freeze-dried, right?) Keep them outside and you'll keep them happy, even if you are not ready to plant them or wrap them up for the gift-giving season.

You know you can plant anything in-ground as long as the soil is not frozen or soaking wet  AND you also know that you can plant a container garden at anytime of year.

The new Hildburghausen Miniature Norway Spruce buds are starting to form. Comparable to the Pusch Norway Spruce, it produces cones when the shrub is young. Love it! See it here.
