HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
**Photos may take a moment to load**

Hi ,

Happy Dad's Day to all the Dad's out there! We know you're busy this weekend with preparations and celebrations so we'll keep this Mini Garden Gazette low on the info and high on the eye-candy! Find more photos of our display that we did last weekend below. There's more coming too. Whew! I think the saying, "Go big or stay home" is ingrained in my nature. Lol!

Will someone find that thermostat and turn it down? Find watering tips to beat the heat below - great tips for all your plants, not just your miniatures.

Hey, July 4th is coming up quickly which really means more opportunities to show off your miniature garden skills!! Think hostess gifts, guest take-home treats, placemat gifts, centerpieces - or how about lining up a miniature garden workshop for the kids for a couple of hours while you wait for the fireworks? Any excuse to make a miniature garden, I say!! :o)

Thank you for being our subscriber!

A fairy garden with a true miniature Canada Hemlock. I wanted it to look like the fairy was in the garden playing with her toys.

I planted this pot a few years ago and at one point I almost lost this Variegated Boxwood because the little pot wasn't getting enough water. I caught it just in time and it seems to be doing well now. I'll trim it now that it's recovered to help shape it. That wall in the back is an old patio from another garden. That is Irish Moss that has flowered below.
Staycation! Let your mind go on vacation and save a bundle! Lol! This was made from one of our Etsy sets.

Simple yet waaaay cute!! This is the same pot, garden, Hen & Chick plants (thinned out) and accessory that is shown in our Gardening in Miniature book on pages 31 & 46, shown below.  It's been together for years with minimal maintenance.

Jean Iseli Canada Hemlock with Tiny Tears Miniature Hosta. Great for shade, hardy to about -20F. It's in a rock planter. This one was made by Steve.

Hostess with the most-ess gifts! Make a bunch and keep them on hand in case you need a quick gift, a few raffle donations or just a sweet "I'm thinking of you" present.

Until next week...
Happy Miniature Gardening!

And Happy Father's Day!
