 Mini Garden Gazette
SOMETHING TO SMILE ABOUT
**Photos may take a moment to load**

Hi ,

We hope you had a wonderful long weekend! I personally think every weekend should be a three-day weekend. One day for chores, one day for errands and one day for my hobbies. How does that sound? Shall we start a petition? Miniature Gardeners Unite!!

For today's blog I took an abrupt turn and decided to focus on generating smiles. Earlier this week when I was finalizing some new ideas, I remembered how fun it is to play in miniature. (Yeah, I've finally been able to get back in the studio!) I simply think that you can't be in bad mood, nor stay in one, when you play with little tiny minis that can tickle your funny bones!

Our new Miniature Cinderblock Planter will be ready to ship out this week for all those who pre-ordered. Prepare to giggle.

More new trees and shrubs are in stock this week. These latest trees we got from the grower and nice and small - just as we like 'em!! It's from ordering them mid-season. The plants are still well-rooted but shorter and way cute!! ;o)

Thanks for being our subscriber!

Whatever you do, make it fun,

And, while our annual contest has been discontinued,
the blogs are still very popular:

A true miniature tree, the Jessy Norway Spruce is a charmer! She can handle the full sun and cold temperatures down to -40F (Brrrr!) She is just a baby, so avoid extremes while she is still young. See all her info here.

Thank you to all who pre-ordered the world's cutest cinderblock planter! We're shipping them out this week and a few left in stock because I counted them wrong. Lol! Find them here.

Yep! I did it! I don't have a space for the full-size version but the miniature one can fit just about anywhere. It made me giggle when I put it together.

Make a garden border or cinderblock fence!

Find Miniature and Dwarf Trees for Full Sun - Be cautious of them in that hot, hot afternoon sun in the summertime and don't let the soil dry out completely.

- Teeny Mugo Pine - the needles are indeed Teeny! Hardy!

- Jessy Miniature Norway Spruce - they are so CUTE and very hardy!

- Fairy Puff Sawara Cypress - creamy, dreamy tips on blue-green foliage!

- Streib's Findling Cotoneaster on Standard - fun to grow, keep it trimmed.

Find Miniature and Dwarf Trees for Part Sun/Shade

- Rock Garden Holly - has red berries too!

- Tansu Japanese Cedar - trees are shorter this season, this gem does very well in part shade/dappled shade with evenly damp soil.

- See them sorted by zone here, or sorted by light here.
