Mini Garden Gazette
Summer is Coming!
**Photos may take a moment to load**

Hi ,

I promised you last week to show you some of my full-sized garden exploits since I've been asked nicely to share them. I'm a bit shy of publishing things that aren't ready so this is exclusively for YOU only! Never before published on the Interweb! Such a rebel! Lol!

Memorial Day weekend is NEXT weekend! Time to get planting the garden if you haven't already. You still have over a month to plant a garden bed before the summer weather arrives (in theory.) And, remember that you can plant containers ANYTIME!

Fresh trees are now in stock this week including some rare trees. Can you believe we actually sold out of Hinoki Cypress? I know, right? :o) We restocked some favorite accessories as well. See below for more.

Up on the Mini Garden Guru blog, we're sharing an Instagram photo series that will shed more light on what we do and who we are here at TwoGreenThumbs.com!

Thank you for being our subscriber!

Whatever you do, make it fun,

ABOVE: Our front garden. We are slowly taking away as much lawn as we can while leaving enough room to play with our dog. The big flowers in the back are Rhododendrons that were here when we bought the place in 2010.

 Hemlocks Back in Stock!

Our favorite Canada Hemlocks are finally back in stock! Our miniHemlocks can be grown in zones 4 through 8 and are hardy to -30F (Brrr!) Plant them in a part shade or cool sun spot where the soil can stay evenly damp. (The shade helps with this.) We've grown them in pots for years and in ground too. Hemlocks are outdoor trees.

Moonfrost Canada Hemlock - shear to keep it's colors!

Limited quantities available.

Our miniature in-ground garden is currently being buried by the shedding Azaleas and Rhododendrons. Once they finish blooming, I'll get in there a clean it up and take photos for you.

The front of our house. I'm working on expanding the front patio to include an arbor for shade during our now-hot summers. I've been waiting for Steve to choose a color for the house for years now. Please email your suggestions directly to him here, as all my suggestions haven't worked: Steve@TwoGreenThumbs.com Lol!

Father's Day is June 19th!

Our front corner garden. My fave color combo so far. Those golden columns are Colleens Gold Arborvitaes. The small red shrubs are barberries. The flowering shrubs are Rhodies and all that ground cover covering the front rocks is Woolley Thyme. This is a drought tolerant garden that gets that full, hot afternoon sun in the summer time. I've tucked miniatures here and there for the passersby, who always stop and comment on them. Fun!

Our back garden. That's Honeysuckle on the very right. An Evergreen Clematis is on the trellis and the big-leafed shrub on the left is our Oakleaf Hydrangea which we are trying to figure out how to prune. Lol! Miniature gardening, imho, is much easier!
