Mini Garden Gazette
Time for a little gardening!
**Photos may take a moment to load**

Hi ,

Well, this was the first spring in 16 years that I've had off - no garden shows, no street markets, no classes, no workshops and no book tour. 16 years! And, while I did miss seeing just about everybody, I actually loved it! Lol!

I was so burned out from writing the new book over the winter that I didn't have the headspace to plan anything but downtime - and I'm so glad I did. It's all too often that we feel obligated by what we've always done in the past, or expected to be ever-present for our job and always "show up" no matter what.

But the burnout made me say no to everyone and everything and what a relief it was to have spring all to myself, catch up on my own work here and my own miniature gardening. So, look for more new ideas coming from our studios this summer!

And yes, I'll take some photos of my full-sized garden for next week so you can see what I've been up to in my downtime. ;o)

We'll keep this short as we know your busy too!

Whatever you do, make it fun,

I messed up the link last week ~> in case you missed it!  The video walks through 4 different scales from Barbie size to Small or 1/4" and back again.

Miniature Goldenrod ~> It's Ragweed that blooms at the same time that causes the allergic symptoms, not Goldenrod. This one is tiny, spreads slowly and can be easily divided after a couple of years. Yellow flowers in the summer.
