It's Time to Get Hopping...
**Photos may take a moment to load**

Hi ,

I love it. I love not to have to wait for the weather to play with miniatures and gardening. If it's too wet and cold, I can camp out in the studio and work on my accessory ideas. When the weather is nice, I'm out in our in-ground miniature garden or playing with my containers. You don't have to wait for the season to have a reason to garden in miniature!

So, what's fun this week?

Miniature Easter eggs and baskets! Colorful barberry shrubs! Bunny benches and wishing wells! Way cute! Who needs to pay attention to Trump and Hillary when WE HAVE MINIATURE GARDENING TO DO. Lol!

For those who are experiencing spring, I've included a link to a blog with a checklist to make sure you think of everything when you awaken your miniature garden this spring. Our careful studies have shown that it takes approximately 20 minutes to clean up a pot. Whew, right? :o)

Whatever you do, make it fun,

It's Just One of Those Things...

One of the many pleasant discoveries when researching what plants do best in the miniature garden was finding out that barberries are terrific trees and shrubs to use. Cold hardy, heat hardy, great for pots and perfect in a well-drained garden bed in full sun too.

The tiny colorful leaves pair well with any of your favorite conifers too.

We have three back in stock this week! This one shown above is the Golden Devine Miniature Barberry. The Helmond Pillar is a column-shape with ruby-red leaves shown below. And the Golden Torch Barberry is column shape with yellow-green leaves and reddy stems that is just lovely as well. `

"A trisket, a trasket, a green and yellow basket... " Don't you love those old skipping songs? Find this sweet set of miniature baskets up in our Etsy store here. Quantities are limited.*

*Email me if they are sold out and you want a set, I can make more.

Update on the Miniature Garden Society

They say that the bigger the struggle, the greater the reward. If this is really the case, the Miniature Garden Society is going to be amazing - once I can figure out how to open it up for everyone that wants to join. It's been an educational experience (I'm being polite) with technology and currently the score is: Technology: 57, Janit 2. Ugh.

For the Fellow Miniature Gardeners who notified us that they are interested: we are working on it. Thank you for your patience!

For those who signed-up on the Early Birds list and haven't got in yet, check your inbox for an email from Support@MiniatureGardenSociety.com or email for another invite link.

For those who are already in, check the members area for what is new.
