You guys make me laugh. I posted the short poem
last week that my Dad would sing every spring and got some better versions from a couple of Fellow Miniature Gardeners:
This one was from Donna from Ontario, Canada:
Spring is sprung, the grass is riz,
Wonder where the birdies
is.
The birdies on the wing --
no, the wing is on the birdie!
And this one is from LeeAnn in Utah, her God-fearing, conservative Grandmother use to sing this:
Spring is sprung, the grass is
riz.
Where the hell my flowers is????
