Happy Easter!
**Photos may take a moment to load**

Hi ,

You guys make me laugh. I posted the short poem last week that my Dad would sing every spring and got some better versions from a couple of Fellow Miniature Gardeners:

This one was from Donna from Ontario, Canada:

Spring is sprung, the grass is riz,

Wonder where the birdies is.

The birdies on the wing --

no, the wing is on the birdie!

And this one is from LeeAnn in Utah, her God-fearing, conservative Grandmother use to sing this:

Spring is sprung, the grass is riz.

Where the hell my flowers is????

Lol! Thank you for the laugh, Ladies! How fun is that?

It's all about the plants this week and if you are outside the States, we have some insight for you too!

Have a Happy Easter!

Whatever you do, make it fun,

On Finding the Right Trees
Anywhere You Live

It's easy to find the right trees and plants for miniature gardening when you are connected with America's Favorite Miniature Garden Center, but what if you don't live in the United States? Here is a short list the the kinds of plants that we use for miniature gardening, that you can find wherever you are.

- Alpine plants

- Rockery plants
- Bonsai starts
- Baby plants that grow slow
- Young dwarf or miniature conifers
- Low growing ground covers

If you go into to your local nursery and they are not into miniature or fairy gardening yet, try asking for these types of plants instead. You can also take a look through our plant section in our online store before you go to your local garden center and jot down a few names to ask them for. This way you will give them an idea of what you're looking for.

Main things to look for:
- Slow growth rate, under 3" or less is ideal. Some plants can be pruned to slow them down.
- Small leaves and flowers.
- Short plants, or low-growing plants
