Happy Halloween!

**Photos may take a moment to load**
Hi ,

Yikes, it’s October already! The bad news is, summer is really over. Sniff. Where’s my fleece? The good news is that it is time for getting creatively crafty - or do you prefer getting cosy with a couple of new subjects to explore and dream about for next spring? I tend to do a little of both – says the Gemini. :o)

I hope you like the new format for the newsletter. It was one of those "forced to upgrade" things that the online world loves to throw at us online business owners. We hope it will be more user-friendly on your mobile devices now that it's one column, instead of two. Hey, we know it's the details, eh?

So, onward and upward! Make sure to visit the Halloween decorating ideas - there some really fun ones in there. Our Halloween accessories are now in stock and we now have all our plants and trees up in the online store too.

Remember the best time to plant an in-ground garden is right now, in the fall, the best time to plant any kind of container garden is anytime!

As always, whatever you do, make it fun,

New Videos on the Mini Garden Guru Blog!

I'm finding out that it takes just as much time to make a video than it does to write a blog. With the wealth of photos and research I have been doing for the last fifteen years, I figure I can stay very busy for awhile.

Miniature Garden Tutorial: Understanding Scale: In this video, it shows you the different scales in the same garden so you can easily see the difference. Click here to see the blog and the video!

More new plants:

Shimpaku Juniper, Pre-Bonsai: The Shimpaku is pre-shaped into a semi-cascade style and well on its way to becoming a perfect bonsai to add to your miniature garden. In-ground and in containers: well-drained soil and full sun. Very hardy. See more...

Dwarf Mondo Grass: The perfect grass for miniature gardening. It's really a groundcover, so it doesn't grow tall nor does it need mowing. Tiny flowers in the late spring. In ground our in containers. See more...
