Hi ,
Happy Father's Day! From the coolest part in the country - the PNW! We hope this finds you well and safe. I have a hoodie and a down vest on as I write this, and I'm inside at my desk. Lol! At least our plants don't mind - and that's a good thing.
So I hope your wrist-deep in your miniature gardening this season. You know if it's too _________ outside, there is still puh-lenty of ideas to play with and enjoy your hobby. Wether you're stuck inside because it's too hot out, or, like me, and avoiding the rain. whatever the reason or whatever the season, there is always something to learn, do or create! See "more"
below!
The Week's Mini Garden - The garden highlighted in today's Gazette, you might recognize from the Prop Shop book. It's been in this pot since 2015 and needed an upgrade, so we used it for a mini-miniature lake demo for
the Miniature Garden Society. Info on the plants below.
New Mini Tree Sets of 2 - 2" potted trees, are now back in stock. These tiny trees are great for adding another layer in your garden design as companion plants for the 4" potted trees. OR make a tiny miniature garden and you can watch your little tree grow up! See them in our New & Back in Stock Section here.
Have a great week, stay safe and sane and make a miniature garden. Oh ya, and whatever you do, make it fun!

The tree is a Hebefolia Canada
Hemlock. I think that is a Just Dandy Hinoki Cypress to the left of it. Left again is our fave Dwarf Mondo Grass followed by Corsican Mint. On the other side of the tree is more Dwarf Mondo Grass and a Dwarf Astilbe, beside the wee Monk, that is just coming-up for the summer after going dormant for the winter. (See I told you it was cool up
here!)
Companion Planting Ideas: This garden is ideal for a part sun or cool sun spot. Other trees or shrubs that will match horticulturally: any Japanese Cedars (Cryptomerias,) Yews (Taxus,) Boxwoods (Buxus,) Japanese Holly (Ilex) or another Hemlock (Tsuga,) of course.
Groundcovers that would enjoy these specs as well: Dwarf Kenilworth Ivy (Cymbalaria,) Baby Tears (Soleirolia,) Irish Moss (Sagina sublata,) any dwarf Fern or the Fairy Vines (Muelenbeckia.)

A classic brick pond that can be used anywhere!
A name that make me laugh. Great for containers too!
A pretty blend of orange, red and cream colors.
Interested in the Lakeside Miniature Garden Kit? ~ I've been working on this fairy garden version with the pink and white stones, another miniature garden version will be with gray stones. (The larger rocks and the
moss are not included.) I think there needs to be two sizes, for small and large ponds. Let me know if you are interested in one of the new Lakeside kits, reply to this email!

The National Miniature Garden Month Fund :o)
~> THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE DONATED! <~
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
We're still looking for some help getting the National Miniature Garden Month! The application fee is $3,500 and it's a "one-time" fee so once we've paid for it, we'll have it forever.
Steve and I have been working on this hobby for the last 20 years and have self-funded everything so far, but now we need some real help to get this going. I think it's worth every cent and it'll expose our hobby more than we could ever do.
We're coming up with ways to thank our donors too! So your help won't be forgotten!
Here are some ways for you to help for any kind of budget. Click into the links for more...
(The Peace Banner proceeds still go to the Ukraine relief effort.)

ABOUT OUR SHIPPING:
All shipping costs are checked by Steve and we refund any savings promptly because of our wide range of unique inventory: we ship tiny miniatures, heavy patio materials and living plants, sometimes the automatic shipping calculator "packs" the order in multiple boxes which costs more. Steve can pack better than any online shipping
calculator can - if we can save you money on shipping, we will.
