Hi ,
I hope this finds you and yours safe and well and looking forward to the springtime. The clocks change this coming weekend and that's when I consider it spring even though it officially begins on the 20th. Bring it, Spring!!
Meanwhile.... :o) it's still cool and rainy here in Seattle for the most-part which is a good thing because it keeps me at my desk, working on my major Mini Garden Guru blog renovation that is coming together quite nicely. I "should" have something for you to see by next week - fingers crossed!
Taking in the news from overseas left me feeling really helpless so I've made a new product which I think you'll like, and I'm donating 100% of the proceeds to the relief effort for the displaced women and children. Check it out below.
Take care of you and stay grounded with your favorite hobby. Taking time for yourself and practicing self-care will give you patience and resilience. Knowing you have something fun and special to stay home for, or go home to, is a comfort in itself.
Whatever you do, make it fun

ABOVE: The same garden shown below and in last week's Gazette, built in early spring 2020. An Elf Dwarf Spruce (Picea glauca 'Elf') with Nathalie Heather (Erica carnea 'Nathalie.') In front of the Heather is Red Thyme. Behind the rocker is Dwarf Mondo Grass mixed with Hens & Chicks. The "plants" in the pots in the wheelbarrow are sedum cuttings.

Thank you to all who sent feedback for my new Peace Flag Banner. You should have received an email with the printable PDF by now. I've made it into a downloadable PDF file with three different styles of flags. The one shown above, more traditional with different symbols. The second one is more colorful with "lighter" peace symbols (great for kids,)
and the third one is based on the Ukrainian flag.
The response was so awesome, I decided to put it up in the store and donate 100% of the profits toward the relief effort in Ukraine. I know it's not a lot, but - I have tried sleeping with a mosquito, I know that little things can add up to make a big difference.
Want to help the Ukrainian Relief Effort and
promote a "little" peace?
Get yours here.
100% of the proceeds will be donated.

The Golden Torch Barberry - is a very fun tree to grow in the miniature garden. Because it's a baby shrub, so it grows multiple stems up from the base to create a lovely presence in the miniature garden bed - a
great anchor point! For this variety, flowers and leaves come out at the same time to brighten your day - but those yellow leaves will stick around for the summer, and may blush a little pink too.
The leaves will drop in the fall and the cycle will start again... Note that she has thorns. See more of her here.

TRUE Miniature Garden
SPRING TREES and SHRUBS
NOW ARE IN STOCK!
Head's Up! I had several substitutions on last week's tree order from my grower so if you see a tree or shrub you like, grab it. I'm at the mercy of the grower and now I'm not sure what I will get in the next order until I get it. Did I say I was at the mercy of my grower yet? Lol! Grab it when you see it!

Not ready for your spring trees yet?
For Trees and Shrubs ONLY!
(We'll have plenty of fresh ground covers
throughout the spring for you!)
- We will ship after May 1st - weather permitting!

with you in May before we ship.
St. Patrick's Day is Coming UP! - Time to get your Irish on! As someone who recently found out that I am 83% Irish, you certainly have my Irish blessing to celebrate this day even if you are not Irish! :o)
Just please stay away from the green beer... Lol!

Daisy the Digging Dog - is always good for a laugh. Shown here, she's digging into the Baby Tears with the Dwarf Mondo Grass in the background on the left, Dwarf London Pride Saxifrage (the rosettes) on the
right.
We'll have more of the Baby Tears and Dwarf London Pride Saxifrage in stock as we move into the warmer months.

ABOUT OUR SHIPPING:
We Ship Internationally (- but not the plants!)
All shipping costs are checked by Steve and we refund any savings promptly because of our wide range of unique inventory: we ship tiny miniatures, heavy patio materials and living plants, sometimes the automatic shipping calculator "packs" the order in multiple boxes which costs more. Steve can pack better than any online shipping
calculator can - if we can save you money on shipping, we will.

We appreciate and serve everyone regardless of race, color,
gender, politics, religion or who they love.
Viva la difference!
If we were all the same, the world would be a
very, very boring place to live.
