Hi
Happy Hanukkah to all who celebrate!
And a belated Happy Thanksgiving - I just realized last week's Mini Garden Gazette didn't send properly and I missed wishing you an awesome start to the holidays. I hope your T-Day weekend was fun and cozy!
Apologies for some repeated content in here today, there is some fun stuff that I wanted to share with everyone that's timely to this Season.
SHIPPING NEWS - The last day to ship your miniature garden items to get there before the 25th is December 18th. If you are gifting plants, we can send them to arrive on a different date so they don't get lost in the shuffle of the holidays. Just let us know - Steve@TwoGreenThumbs.com
'Tis the Season! Make someone a miniature garden - they are a very personal and fun idea to give AND you get to have fun playing with your hobby. It's a double-win! :o)
Stay safe. Stay positive. Be the good you would like to see in the world. And whatever you do, please make it fun and safe for everyone,

The Wonderful Pancake Juniper! Let me tell you the ways...
1.) It's a ground cover - so that tells us that it will never grow up - kinda like me. Lol! No, really, it stays low to the ground and may get to be about 6" high but it grows prostrate - or sideways. It'll max-out at 4' wide and will take about 12 years
to get that big. Meanwhile, we can enjoy it in our miniature gardens. You can trim it back to redirect it at anytime which will slow down the growth-rate even more.
2.) It's a Juniper - which means it's really hardy to -40F, or Zone 3 <- makes me cold just typing that. AND they can tolerate the hot, full sun in the summer time. Just make sure the soil doesn't dry out completely. It'll be drought-tolerant once it is established in the garden bed... heat zones 9 thru 1.
3.) ...And Junipers are great for containers too. This one will cascade nicely down the side of a pot to create a really pretty curtain of textured foliage that will complement your mini garden design. Let the soil dry out to barely damp in between watering sessions to avoid over-watering.
4.) It turns purple!! It changes color in the colder regions and will turn purple - called the winter's blush. A very pretty feature during the winter that will often come as a happy surprise when you see it. When the weather warms up in the spring, it'll change back to that wonderful gray-green color.

ABOUT OUR SHIPPING:
We Ship Internationally (- but not the plants!)
All shipping costs are checked by Steve and we refund any savings promptly because of our wide range of unique inventory: we ship tiny miniatures, heavy patio materials and living plants, sometimes the automatic shipping calculator "packs" the order in multiple boxes which costs more. Steve can pack better than any online shipping calculator can - if we can save you money on shipping, we
will.

We appreciate and serve everyone regardless of race, color,
gender, politics, religion or who they love.
Viva la difference!
If we were all the same, the world would be a
very, very boring place to live.
We believe in Oneness, Kindness & Love.
