Happy New Year!
+ A January Sale!
Hi ,
Happy YOU in '22!
Let's make it new in '22!
You do you, Boo, in '22!
Got a slogan for the year yet? I've been looking for something uplifting - and grateful that we've finally turned the page on a tough year. I hope this finds you hopeful for the year ahead as well.
So, ICYMI - we've been snowed-in for the last week here in Seattle. Frozen solid, I might add. Brrrr! We are just not set up for it! Everything just stopped. Lol! The life as I knew it was all frozen in time. Not too fun but - hey, you know me - I'm the Queen of the Metaphorical Lemonade! Well, I am eventually, after much kvetching that is... :o)
Ushering in the NEW
So, I've been renovating our indoor studio to make it more video-friendly and indoor-plant friendly. It was supposed to be ready for the Christmas break, but, alas no. Life had other plans. I worked on it every chance I could, but with Steve home during the
snow-storms, we got most of it done. But during all that, I didn't have any place to play or create! Gah!
But what I remembered by NOT having ANY place to create, is what always inspires me the most.
And it was something new.
- It can be a new and/or clean studio or room to work in.
- It can be a re-arrangement of your crafty space.
- It can be one little accessory, or a new landscape of trees and shrubs.
- It can be a new book, or an unusual crafty kit to play with.
- It can be a new idea, a current trend to miniaturize or... ??
As long as it's new to you, it'll inspire you too. So, to help you get something new to play with, we've put a number of miniature garden accessories, our Gardening in Miniature books, patio materials and plants on sale! Yay!
Stay safe. And whatever you do, please make it fun and safe for everyone,
Janit Calvo, Head MG, Owner

ABOVE: My gardens and outdoor studio (aka my life,) was frozen under several inches of snow here in Seattle last week...
Just a light dusting of snow - is all you need for a very sweet photo - NOT several inches. Usually the snow only lasts a day here in Seattle. This time, it lasted all week long. If you heard any grumbling whatsoever - it was me. :o)

Bird tracks in the snow. That a Dwarf Princess Elm (Ulmus parvifolia 'Hokkaido') that has gone dormant for the winter. It's about 8 inches tall. The fern at the back is a Dwarf Crisped Fern (Dryopteris affinis 'Crispa
Gracilis') and the grassy-looking plant in the front, right is Silver Carpet (Dymondia margaretae) which may not make it through this freeze. The other plants are hardy enough, I just have to make sure it is kept watered.

ABOUT OUR SHIPPING:
We Ship Internationally (- but not the plants!)
All shipping costs are checked by Steve and we refund any savings promptly because of our wide range of unique inventory: we ship tiny miniatures, heavy patio materials and living plants, sometimes the automatic shipping calculator "packs" the order in multiple boxes which costs more. Steve can pack better than any online shipping calculator can - if we can save you money on shipping, we
will.

We appreciate and serve everyone regardless of race, color,
gender, politics, religion or who they love.
Viva la difference!
If we were all the same, the world would be a
very, very boring place to live.
We believe in Oneness, Kindness & Love.
