Because it's not all about the plants. It's not all about the miniatures either.
THAT'S the fun of it.
This wonderful new hobby over laps many different kinds of hobbies, and, I feel kinda bad about saying this but - we really focus on taking the best parts of these hobbies and playing with them, leaving the hardest parts behind.
Unless you're going for a gold medal, or trying for an award of some sort, who is to say you need to be a bonsai artist to enjoy some bonsai techniques?
Who says you need a horticultural degree to grow all kinds of different plants in all kinds of different miniature gardens?
Who is to say you need to be a garden designer to design dozens of gardens?
So if you are like me, and really want to just play, learn, craft and create, join me and hundreds of other like-minded miniature gardeners from all over the world at our Miniature Garden Society.
We started this exclusive community as a place to gather, exchange ideas and insight back in 2015 and we're still growing all the time. We're still adding to the site too.
In fact, I just finished updating the plant directory to get it ready to add even more plants. By the time I get done, well-over 120 different kinds of tried and true, reliable plants and trees that we can use for our gardening in miniature will be listed with photos AND photos of the plant IN a miniature garden too.
I know it sounds quite simple but there is nothing else like this in on the Internet that has the details of HOW the plant will grow in a miniature garden.
Right?
I've also added 5 more chapters in the past couple of months that are full of ideas, how-tos, growing insight, in-ground planting info and much, much more.
